O.k. did an hour Pilates earlier and then an hour on the bike. And for the last hour I've been watching The Hills followed by The City(*****fest--gotta love it!) Drank 2 litres of water(had to get up during every break-maybe that was TMI!) Anyway hope it helps with the weight-loss tomorrow. I'm on a roll and I don't want it to stop yet!!

No we don't! I hate cooking shows! It just seems like too much work and then too much clearing up afterwards! I look at cookbooks and seriously if there's more than like 5 ingredients I turn the page! I can do simple things like stir-frys but I am seriously bad!---- I actually put an egg in the microwave to boil it---not a good outcome! O.k. that was a few years ago but still!

I came back from the store.... all of their chickens are too big for my crockpot. So I compromised by purchasing a package of boneless, all natural, skinless chicken breasts.

I was very tempted by their bakery! Why they have to put those bakeries next to the meats? I managed to walk out with my package of chicken!

Good choice D!

I wonder if I can get hubby to set me up a gym for Christmas... He can take advantage of the sales and buy a new flatscreen and I can ask for the machine that converts a real bike into a stationary bike.....that shouldnt be too expensive, but I wonder how good it works. (hmmmmm) Bike riding is fun.... not really like exercise.... gonna have to look into this...

Do you bike ride to burn calories? Or will it just make my legs bigger with muscle? Does it get the thighs and the calves?

Bikes are great for burning calories!! I almost wish I Would have got one instead of the elliptical. I think I could go a lot longer sitting down

Good Job Dustin! Way to avoid temptation! I had to walk OUT of the store with a half dozen donuts for the family. I just made sure not to get any chocolate filled ones because I can't resist those! I had a dream 2 nights ago that I went swimming in a pool of chocolate milk and then got in a hot tub made of stuffing. I ate some stuffing and then felt really bad and then I woke up. If I would have realized I was dreaming I would have eaten the whole dang thing

Good luck Getting there!!! hoping for the whoosh fairy to show up for you tomorrow!
Emily... WHAT an awful dream!! LOL..... aka, nightmare! too funny!
Dylons.. good job on the will power... this is all about getting deep into your head and really wanting this more than anything a bakery has to offer... so good job!
AL... setting a gym sounds like a good idea! I love having my treadmill.. and miss it when I dont have it. I go thru a love/hate with it tho..LOL. I just found that if I bought myself a new workout top, or pants or download new music.. it gets me back on track.

I just made myself some soup.. gosh I feel crummy. I made some eggdrop soup and threw in some shredded turkey. Its 4pm and my tummy is growling.

Em - I too have had crazy food dreams. Although not for a while. When I first started the diet, they were happening everynight. I would wake up wondering if I was sleepwalking to the kitchen and having midnight snacks.

sheri - the best thing about having soup around is you can eat more whenever you want and it wont do any damage. Get better girl!

GT: You almost have me sold on the fat fast. Great results for sure!

Update on my gym..hubby says if I clean all my crap out of the basement, he'll hook me up. I guess its really time to follow in IM2's footsteps and get rid of all that clothes. Not just mine, I still have every single article of clothing from my kids. Even the socks. I just can't get rid of anything knowing I may need it again. You never know, I may decide to have another baby once my 3 year old is old enough to babysit...hubby tells me to get lost. 2 is enough for him, I guess.

I really like the bike idea. Siting down and all. I think it would be the cheapest way for me to go too. Those treadmill can be quite expensive. i acquired a manual one thats also taking space in my basement but I cant stand it.

I think my digital scale is busted. Weighed in the middle of night, like 4AM and I was 136. Then when i got up at 7, I was 134. Now Im not complaining, but it really make no sense. Not changing stats yet, cause its just too good to be true. (I didnt make it to my steak dinner last night. So, menu was tuna and turkey..again!) Gonna bask in the glory til tomorrow morning.....

Have a great day everyone! I'll try to get back later!

Okay - I am up .2 lbs but not gonna get to upset about it. Yesterday was a good clean day! But, I feel kind of bloated today like I may need to do #2 but can't...sorry TMI!

Gt - seriously I haven't forgotten about you! I just got busy yesterday and then here I am at work and remembered that I forgot Maybe I can go home at lunch and look it up!

That rotisserie chicken sounds super yummy!

I have tried to eat more turkey but it is just not happening....I gag when I get to thinking about it. LF cottage cheese is my comfort food rt now.

I also bought that lean ground round and it kind of tastes funky! My husband walked by last night after I cooked it and was saying how bad it smells. I ate it anyway cuz I hate wasting....but, not sure I wanna buy it again!

Al - I have a great treadmill I just can't seem to get my lazy rear in gear to use it. Maybe I would lose this fat around my thighs if I would use it. The elliptical I was using at the gym actually made me gain too much muscle in my thighs and now I can't seem to slim it down. It drives me crazy cuz all my clothes fit diff now. I refuse to get back on that crazy thing.

GT - So you really noticed slimmer thighs with the bike? That is something I may want to try!!

Happy Monday all!

Hi Everyone! Al-oh def keep the baby clothes! You never know! Congrats on the loss-I'm sure it will def stick-check back in to bask some more!!!!

Ms-don't worry about the book! I'm continuing to have the 2 teaspoons-and it's working so I'm not complaining!

The bike is def working! I think that it is def the secret to the shrinking of the thighs!

Was clearing out the wardreobe today(just cos it was so messy) and I tried on 2 pairs of jeans-one I havn't worn since Oct. and they are way too loose-especially round the thighs! And I had bought a pair of very tight ones in the sale to wear with long tops-here they're called"jeggings" -cos they're a cross between leggings and jeans-as in they look like jeans. Anyway--they didnt really fit that well around the hips(but they were cheap and I always live in hope!)but now I can wear them perfectly! O.k.I would never wear them with anything short cos they just wouldn't be flattering-I'll never have skinny legs- I'm def a pear!

So power to the bike!!

Good Morning everyone!

I tried on my 46 pants and they fit me again. So I'm wearing them to work today. I guess it doesn't take that long to start burning off the fat when switching over to Stillman's. I had a 1/2 cup of LF cottage cheese and a can of tuna. It's almost noon so I will have another can of tuna. I've also been drinking lots of water and unsweetened green tea.

Tomorrow I plan to weigh myself first thing in the morning and post it here. I really hope my weight will be under 250! 268 is pretty bad, but 250 sounds better! Maybe I can try on my 44 pants in a couple of weeks.

Dustin! I would invest in a new, large crock pot or slow cooker! They are wonderful. If not for mine, my family would starve to death!!! Think of all the wonderful things you can make. One of my favorite things to do is cook a turkey breast! Yes. .I know we aren't supposed to talk turkey (sorry Al) but they come out moist and delicious! I throw mine in frozen (I know your not supposed to but I think they are juicier when you do it this way) with a package of onion soup mix.. MMMmmm . My kids love it. I've also done the tin foil rot. chickens.. great!!! Pork chops with soy sauce are great.. I've done stew meat with onion soup mix.. (which you can easily convert to stroganoff if you have others to cook for). . chicken breasts with the fake BBQ sauce in an earlier post. .. The options are endless and it is wonderful to have something done when you get home from work. plus the house smells wonderful. I think being prepared is half the battle!

I did some lean burgers on my George Foreman last night - not bad, but not as good as on the grill. . I'm glad we keep ours out all winter!! I'm also enjoying some left-over lemon chicken. .and water. . Mmm. .I forgot to weigh myself this morning and didn't want to do it once I was dressed and ready.. Perhaps Tomorrow. .

Al: Good luck on the gym. .I sure hope you use yours more than I use mine. I have a treadmill, eliptical and a full size weight set with all the contraptions.. It's covered in coats right now!! . .Actually, we are in the middle of converting the upstairs of the garage into the kids room..and once that happens, I plan to have my exercise room back. . in the meantime, I still have to get my butt over the the Community Center. . I'm thinking I need a bike, now too. .hehehe

I bought 5's! I bought 5's! I bought 5's! huh...huh... breathing heavy....I really had to squueze into them... but wow! I turned around, and i have a tiny hiney!! doin a dance... shake shake... doin a dance...

You know, I think Im actually satisfied now. Its a really weird feeling to be accepting of me, but Im finally happy.

Welcome back Beth!!! We were totally thinking of you!!! So glad you made it through TDay and got in those jeans! I remember your love of True Religion jeans was one of the first things you shared with us. Very nice work! So, Im guessing the 25 means inches of waist?? Sweeeeeet!

Its OK IM2...we can talk turkey... I still have so much left so I have to eat it up. Good idea to start it off frozen, then it can actually go the 8 hrs or so while were at work and not dry out. Thanks!

Great job D - You'll totally be in those 44's in no time!!! tuna = success!

I think our taste buds are extra sensitive without all the garbage carbs running through our system. I totally notice this, especially with beef. I can only buy it from certain stores now because others taste funny to me. I'm always asking hubby to smell it first.

IM2 - what else do you put in with the pork chops and soy sauce. I may do that tomorrow. Just lay them all on top of each other and pour the soy sauce over it?
