I ate sooo much yesterday! Every time I entered the kitchen, I had more chicken soup and then when I was too lazy to warm anything up, I just stuffed my face with more and more chicken.

BUT, nothing lost and nothing gained. Not bad at all. No complaints here!

Holding strong at 148!

Isn't it really strange that once you make home made chicken soup and cool it in the fridge, it turns to jelly. Really kinda grosses me out.....

Beth - I don't think I'll make 140 by Halloween but Im rootin you on, girl!! YOU CAN DO IT!!

Yeah aleriaaa, that jelly is Jello! Some of the protein from the meat dissolves in the boiling water and then when it chills it sets just like Jello. Jello is gelatin...animal protein.

IM2. Hungry is my middle name. should have been my first name tho'.

Beth you are doing so very well!

I'm hangin' in doing Stillman's until the end of the month!

Hey Gals!

Well, I'm holding at 149.2. TOM came yesterday unexpectedly. Like 2 weeks way early. Does this ever happen to any of you? Weird. AND, I forgot to take my Thyroid meds last night like a moron. I fell asleep and didn't take them. So, no loss could be due to that as well! Oh, well. Moving on and down.

Have a wonderful day!

Sorry I can't help out here. TOM is always an unscheduled visitor for me. I think its all my dieting, especially rapid weight loss or quick gains.

Tomorrow is my weigh in day.. I'm nervous because I just don't feel like I've done anything. I am actually hungry right now (again.. ) this week has been a killer for me. . I'm thinking the Nyquil and all the cold meds I was taking has sparked something in my appetite. Really strange. I know there are carbs in it but I really didn't think it would affect me quite so much. But. .you gotta do what you gotta do to get healthy so instead of being back on the wagon. .I'll push it for awhile so I can catch up with ya'all!

Congrats everyone on such great losses. I'm begging for the original two pounds plus one or two more. .That would be a dream. BTW I got some new vitamins the other day and decided to have them throw in a pedometer (a little bit better one) and I love it. It actually tracks your progress for up to 7 days. .my goal is to continually increase my steps until I've double my "normal" walking day. That way I'll at least know I'm doing something. If it ever stops raining here, I will park further away from the door. .Promise!!! I'll pass on the chicken jelly, too!

Hey Aleriaaa!

Are you still eating your mustard? It seems to not hurt my losses! Also, do you still lose wt. during TOM? I'm going to just continue eating the same freaking thing and force my body to let go! I'm downing the water for sure! I feel pretty pathetic that this mission for me to get this wt.off and to finally wear a bathing suit without a ton of cellulite on my legs and ass, is all consuming to me! Do any of you feel like this?

Also, I think I'm going to jump back into Atkin's induction for my maintance plan. I don't give a crap about carbs. I love veggies, meat, cheese and such. I'll be perfectly fine eating just more fat and protein then just adding more carbs. Heck, I could live off cheese and bacon!

How great would that be to just eat till your totally satisfied and not gain an oz. I'm getting excited to go for my long walks and not worry about stalling out or gaining water wt. I want to get rippin when I'm at goal.

Once we make it, it's so much easier to maintain when we workout like 3 days a week. Oh, it's only a few weeks away. Thanksgiving, here I come! I'm not even thinking about going whole hog on that day either. I'll probably have some cheese and broccoli! Maybe a glass of wine or two! Nothing crazy. I want to just sit there and enjoy being back into my size 26 True Religion jeans. That will be enough for me. Then, I can't wait to get back to the guy and get ripped!

Let's do it girls! WE WILL SUCCEED! ONE CKN BREAST AT A TIME! Hold the skin extra mustard please! lolol

Hey Beth! I have cut way back on my mustard in the last 2 weeks but thats only because I haven't been doing any grilling. Love me some grilled pork chops and a side of mustard!! I don't think I'm losing any faster since cutting it out. So, the next time I grill, it will be on the menu.

I also don't think I'm losing any quicker since I quit the Crystal Light. Doesn't bug me though, as long as Im still losing. Maybe the 1 sweet & low in my coffee is holding me back. I know I can eliminate them, since Ive had the willpower to make it this far, but I really just don't feel like it. I guess the same holds for exercise. I really just don't want to. I know its bad, but its the truth..for now. I'm being a baby, I admit it.

So I'm predicting that I can get to 135 by Thanksgiving. I love the torture so I can honestly say I won't be indulging in anything but turkey! Maybe even in the 120's by christmas!! Wouldn't that be the best present!

Let's see.. my plans to maintain.... I will probably add a serving of veggies each week, weigh and see what happens, then add a serving of cheese for a week, weigh and see what happens, then hopefully all is going well and I can add in some nuts or mayo in the weeks to come. I will have to add light exercise by this time. I promise!

It will be very interesting to see what happens when this is all said and done. I'm hoping this wasn't just a quick fix. I'll be devastated if all the weight comes back over a bunch of veggies.

I'm glad you're here Beth! Thanks for the motivation and support!!!!

True Religion jeans!!! Here we come!!!!

Hey IM2!!!!! I'm sure the Nyquil and meds messed up your system really bad. Plus, you've been in a weakened state from the cold and only eating meat! These things added up must've done a toll on you. You will bounce back though. Kiss those pounds goodbye. You're a little more hungry you say... eat some more meat! You guys would think I was a complete pig if I actually kept track of all the turkey and chickens I've been eating!!

The beautiful thing is....it's working.

I love the idea of the pedometer. Maybe I am actually moving around more than I think I am. It'll be so cool for you to keep track!

Hey Al!

I think you'll be smaller than 135 by Thanksg! For sure! It's like a month away! BTW, how much ckn and turkey are you eating? I'm measuring out like 5.5 oz. at a time. Do you do that? How many cals are you having? I'm managing around 7-8-900 around there. Is it too low?

Thanks for your help!

I'm with you on the maintance. I will add the veggies and oils in, then the cheeses, then more veggies like pumpkin. I LOVE PUMPKIN with splenda and cr. cheese. Like a mini pumpkin cheese cake! So freakin good!

How much have you lost this mo. so far? Like 10 right?

Dinner is always big. I'll usually eat a breast and a leg at one sitting, or 2 breasts, or 2-3 pork chops, or if its tuna, a 6-7 oz package. Or 4 chicken legs! It's probbly a lot in one shot. I don't usually eat breakfast, but I may graze throughout the late morning -afternoon and just pick out of the fridge. a couple bites here and there.

I'll try to pay more attention to my portions and calories so I can better inform. I don't even know how many calories are in chicken...

I'm not sure if eating more calories will help you lose faster. Anyone else know???

PUMPKIN!!! YUM!!!! Ok, I'm switching up my maintenance plan to include the addition of pumpkin and cream cheese first!!

You know.... I don't have my food journal with my stats on me and I tried to look back through my old posts. I was 156 on 9/23, 30 days ago... I have only lost 8 pounds. Oh man. I need to crack down. This is serious.

I'm gonna finish up my chicken legs today and thats it with the fat!

Starting tomorrow:

I'm going to continue to stay away from the Crystal Light.

I am not going to put Sweet & Low in my coffee.

I will only eat chicken breast, tuna, or ground turkey.

I will drink at least 4 bottles of Poland Springs a day.

No more of my home made chicken jello!

Who's with me??????

Woohoo! Our group is growing!!! Welcome chessie! We're so glad you hopped aboard!

I don't drink any cream/milk in my coffee. I quit it cold turkey! Stillmans says "no" so we try not to do it! After a few days without the cream, you'll get used to it (Not to say I still don't miss it.)

Is this your first time with Stillmans? If so, you're in for a wonderful treat. Kiss the extra pounds goodbye!!

Let us know how yuo're doing and what your new plan of attack is!!

Thanks for the welcome!!!
I did Stillmans 2 times before.. I actually did it a year and a half ago and I did fantastic on it.... I lost .5 pounds a day..every day!! I am hoping for the same results....
O.k.. so no more cream... my plan is to stay on Stillmans till I hit 135..then... take off the last 10 with Atkins( which will seem like a breeze) and exercise...
I actually almost caved a few moments ago with a cheese stick..then I came on here and saw your welcome and I suddenly feel a whole new excitment about the diet...thank you!!!

Welcome Jessie!

I'm a newby to this challenge as well! I love Al already. She's such an incredible inspriration. Look at her going like gang busters. We're all at the same wt. how fun is that. I'm 148.6 as of this morning!

YIPPY! I'm down .6 today and that's with TOM coming yesterday. We can do this girls. I'm gonna be 135 by Thankgiving and then go back slowly to Atkins and get closer to 125-130 too! I'm 5'9.5 and used to model so I know what it's like to be that thin. And, no, it's not too thin either. I'm a small boned person. Even at 130 I still have fat on the back of my legs. Yuck!

So, here's the plan! CKN TURKEY LEAN LEAN GROUND BEEF, MUSTARD WATER AND A TINY BIT OF ICE TEA WATERED DOWN WITH WATER!

NO CREAM NO CHEESE NOT NOTHING BUT THAT FOR ME! I'm not here to be a professional dieter! I want goal and that's it! Once and for all. Then I want to enjoy a wonderful Atkins maintance with all the joys of cheese, veggies, wine occasionally and LC desserts every once and a while!

OH, AND LC PUMPKIN BAKE! EVERYDAY! 6 net carbs baby

Have a wonderful day girls! Oh, Jess, I'm not working out either. It stalls me and makes me gain for like a week or so. Can't have that!

HI Beth....very glad to meet you... I also gained with pregnancy...like 80 pounds..with each one ( I have 3...2 boys and a girl) luckily I did lose the weight after each one.. my youngest is 3 now and I am still struggling...Once I hit the 30's I really noticed a major change...I gain weight very easily and it takes alot longer to take it off..that is the beauty of stillmans..its quick and it works!!
Your plan sounds just like mine..well off to cook some chicken and I am going try to the mustard..It is so hard for me to choke down dry chicken..

OH MY! LOLOL! LMAO! I just love kids. They say the darndest things!

My daughter calls my butt, the spoungy butt! "Mommy, I don't want to have a butt like you when I grow up!" Oh, really, kid! She's 6 and is very lucky to have her daddy's build and metabolism. I also don't let her have a lot of processed crap. She muches on organic cherry tomatoes, apples, and grapes as a snack, with organinc string cheese. She won't be like me when I was a kid. My mom had Hostess HoHo's and little Debbies with white bread mayo/balonge sandwiches for me to graze on. Oh, and bags of Dorittos and diet soda! WTG, mom!

You can do this Jess! Just keep you mind on the prize. It's fun waking up and seeing a lb. or two gone over nite. You'll probably lose a ton this week if you aren't in Ketosis yet. Just make all the ckn and turkey b4 and pop in the wave when you need a quick bit. Eat till you're not hungry not stuffed.

BBL!

Awww... Beth. I never thought of myself as being helpful, so it means a lot to me. I'm so glad to be here with you guys!!

Speaking of bones....I was always a chubby kid and my Mom would always say, "sweetie, your just big-boned". It wasn't until high school, when I finally got down to 115, that I held up my wrist and said, "see Mom...so much for big bones!" So, fast forward to the present, and now Im big-boned again.... I think I'll update my stats to reflect that. Nevermind. It wouldnt make sense to anyone else but us.

Beth at 5'9 you must already look gorgeous and thin but I so understand wanting to get back to where you once were. You're more than 6 inches taller than me and I already feel like a hot mama!

I agree with Chessie about major changes after 30. Don't know if its because Im older or its tougher to do the right thing by me, when Im chasing after kids all day. They both started school so it frees up some me-time. I think its been a lot easier to prep the right foods and have time to hang out with you gals on this site!! Works wonders!!

You go girl with those pics!!! (Im a coward, but perhaps I'll hold my head high once my goal is in sight!)

Beth,
Growing up we had a drawer called the junk drawer..it was filled with candy, donuts, and those little Debbie snacks(hoho, swiss cakes...) and we could eat as much as we wanted whenever we wanted..I can not imagine letting my kids do that...no big suprise my father has type 2 diabetes....
I just ate plain water packed tuna with mustard for lunch...I didnt feel like cooking..hope this is o.k.

Jess and Chessie! Glad to see more fellow Stillmaner!!! Aleerria and Starz have been great. . .I can't wait to check in every day to see what they've been up to. . (or down to). . .

OK. .so sorry to disappoint but after 40. . the weight issue becomes even worse. I have 4 boys, my youngest is 6 and this is the first time I've actually been within sight of my goal since he was born - I just peeked at my progress (I'm also on ******) since I started (July) and the only time I lost more than 1 - 2 pounds a week was week 2 of Atkins. Then I hit a standstill for awhile and switched to Stillmans. I've steadily lost something - 22 pounds to date - not huge amounts at once but most often 1/2 - 1 pound here and there but I keep plugging away. I think some of us just have a slower metabolism! I keep reminding myself, the longer it takes me. . the longer I should be able to keep it off. .I am trying to overcome years and years worth of bad habits. The other bummer I discovered (while I was sick) is that sugar free cough drops and sugar free gum are not your friends. Just don't do it no matter how smelly your breath might get They really trigger cravings. .

OK. .so I'm off today .my boy was sent home from school with pink eye yesterday. . OMG. .First flu/colds. now Pink Eye! Sheessh. . I thought I could take advantage of a day off work to get some housework done and here I am sitting on the computer getting my daily fill of Inspiration. So worth it when I logged in. . makes me wanna go out and job or something. .Ok. .not quite. but at least I'm thinking about it.

My other strategy for this weight loss journey. . .NO MORE SWEATS! Even though I'm not where I want to be, I noticed that when I take the time to dress up a little, I feel better, stand straighter and become a bit sassier. I've donated a ton of my fat clothes to the local Goodwill and traded for some new feel-good clothes (plunging necklines help a bit too! Can't be slouchy when you are wearing them!) I refuse to wear jeans that are too tight (I've done that my entire life) and I refuse to wear anything that I don't like. I'm able to wear clothes because they look nice and I enjoy them not because it is the only thing that will fit my body! Also, I was super-uper excited when I cleaned the closet and found a brand new Pink Leather Jacket that I purchased years ago (Ebay)and was never able to wear.. It fits perfectly!!!! Now. .if I only had somewhere to wear it.. .

BTW: I am down the original 2 pounds so today starts my big weight loss - I can feel it in my weary, sweet deprived bones! Technically, I haven't lost anything in the last 3 weeks so I am ready for the Woooosh!!!!!!! but I supposed stupid TOM will visit again and I'll have that to look forward to. .

Remember: The good Lord gave you a body that can stand most anything. It's your mind you have to convince.

I totally agree about the sweats...sweats will stretch and with elastic waist you dont notice your waist is growing..it is hard when you are a stay at mom and you dont have to get dressed up..but I find if I wear Jeans I stick to my diet better because I hate how they feel when they are too tight...so I will save my sweats for the gym!!!!

I totally agree!!! I think it was the baggy flannel pants and t-shirts that got me into my mess. I eventually filled them out after eating all the wrong things and then I was stuck with flannel stretch pants. I'm so looking forward to pulling out my skkiny clothes and getting rid of everything in between. For good!! I don't even care if they are out of style. When you're skinny, anything looks good!

Today, Im in normal work attire but everything is so baggy, I look like a rag-a-muffin!! (Don't take that statement the wrong way - baggy "dress" pants are a way cool thing)

Plunging necklines are a plus! and a little red lipstick goes a long way! Hot Hot Mama!!

Hey everyone - how come we don't have a sexy smilie on the right????????
