Hi there!
Im new here...just started Stillman's today with the hopes of losing some major pounds in the next 3 weeks. See Im doing a biggest loser contest at work and so far Im in first place but 2nd place is right behind so I figured Stillmans could help me. I've lost a whole bunch of weight on Atkins but I need a boost since I've seemed to slow down on losing weight on Atikins, I think being a part of this thread will help me through my weight loss! Here is to a new month everyone!!!!

Hi everyone! And welcome iluvpooh!

I haven't been here in a while, but I'm back on track. I feel off the wagon out of frustration for stalling and gained 6 pounds! Got back on the stillmans for 3 days and lost it all! Now I'm back to my stall weight! The stillmans really does work, but the closer you get to your goal, its seems to stall like the others at least for me.

However, I going to try to beak it by incorporating more cardio (been doing pilates) and vitamin/mineral supplements. Supplements I don't mind, but ....I hate cardio!!

Good to be back!

It's my 5th day on stillman's. My scale is broken , so i can't weight myself . But I can tell my stomach is a little flatter! Yay!

I hope it's a nice month for everyone!

2nd day on QWL and doing good. Had chicken breast today and extra lean ground beef, and will have a 1/2 cut of cottage cheese a bit later. Yay!!!

No losses for me today but hey, yesterday was definintely a good day, and today I am wearing a top that I had not worn in ages because of my flabby tummy

That is frustrating! Do you have a tape measure to keep track of inches that your losing? Sometime the scale doesn't reflect the inches lost

3rd Day on Stillman's and going strong. Weighed myself this morning and came in at 133.5. Very excited. I also joined a gym today so Im pumped!

Btw, I'm thinking about switching to eggs whites, too, instead of whole eggs. There's so much fat in yolks! Too bad though 'coz they're the most delicious part...

hi guys,
i've started stillman's today and wanted to say hi, i was really really tired on atkins, spending too much money on food and eating too much on and off plan so i'm going to stillman's, i like the idea of losing 20 lbs quickly then i can think about atkins/stillmans for the rest.
after only 1 day eating stillman's i feel the best ive felt in months
i probably will weigh myself in a few weeks when i get the courage

I also feel better on stillman's. All the fat on atkins was making me sick most of the time!

It's possible to lose 20 pounds on stillman's in a month or even less I think, so good luck!

Hi everyone,
I have been trying this woe for about a week now and did okay until overwhelming hunger hit me last night after dinner. I ate and ate until I was so full I couldn't eat another bite.
I want to try again I think I made the mistake of not eating until full enough during meals and letting between meal hunger go to long.
I also have noticed a return of acne that while eating high fat had totally cleared up.
Anyone else notice this? Does it clear up when you adjust to the diet ? Thanks

Hey Jean,

I did have a little outbreak of acne, and I almost sure it was because of the diet, because I generally have very very good skin (barely any spots ever). It has cleared up now.

at 130 in the beginning of TOM, i might actually have lost weight- i usually put on like 5 lbs during TOM... i guess we will see when flow stops coming to town next week.

Oh, and about the acne, when i ate high fat i had more acne then low fat.... maybe it is stress related?

I started Stillman's on Tuesday after a 6 day carb fest! I got all the way up to 161lbs! My lowest weight to date has been 154 and I've been stalled between 154 and 157 on Atkins Induction so I'm using Stillman's to break it! I am at 154.6 as of this morning i may just do Stillman's to goal depending on how much the loss slows down. My goal is 2 weeks of Stillman's combined with Eat Stop Eat.

Wow, Izzy, your doing really great! Way to go! It makes me wanna step on the scale asap. I hadn't weighed myself yet. I think my scale isn't broken after all, apperently it's just low battery. I post here as soon as I get new batteries. Can't wait...

'kay, bad news for me. I finally stepped on the scale and it turnes out I didn't lose anything. Not a pound. Today is the ninth day of Stillman's for me. I was keeping my cals under 600-700 a day. No cheats or anything...It's odd... I dunno... Should I eat even less? Or maybe stop eating altogether? Seriously, I dunno I guess, it's my metabolism again...

I don't wanna go off this diet right now even if I'm not losing, but god! is it dissapointing...But I must be patient.

Anyway, seems like everyone else is doing great! Gongrats! Keep going!

Have you tried the fat fast?
Complete opposite, designed by atkins. Maybe that would shock your system into dropping a few?
