cottage cheese question

Hey everyone
I know you are allowed Fat free Cottage cheese, but how much? I usually do not eat it, but I bought some and find it very addicting, I try not to go over 1 cup per day....try...lol

So has anyone experienced good results using ff cottage cheese, or do you think lean protein is best? I can live without it!

Thanks

Unfortunately I can't eat the stuff at all. I love it but it seems to keep the weight on, I think it makes me retain a ton of fluid or something. I don't do well with any dairy products though so you might do fine. But if you find yourself not losing, then cut it out for a few days and see what happens.

Ive seen a dry pressed .5% fat cottage cheese that has none of those extra additives. Just milk ingredients and bacterial culture...maybe Ill try that one. It has 3g carb per 1/2 cup...doesnt sound too bad...

VERY interesting. I'll check it out tomorrow. My fat-free cottage cheese has 7g of carbohydrate per half cup. I therefore only allow myself a forkful daily.

I bought the fat free but the wierd thing is, it only states 4 carbs. The low fat only had 4 carbs too.. I wonder if there was a misprint? It was the Albertson's name brand. It tasted really good, so I guess it is ok
