New User - CHECK OUT MY BLOG AND SUPPORT ME!
Hi Everyone,
I'm Kate, and I started the Stillman's diet today, which is low carb and low fat. I would really appreciate any support from anyone who has done this diet, who is doing it, or who has/is done/doing anything similar. The link to my blog is kamills where you will find all the details about the diet, and my weight and what I eat. Hope to hear from someone soon! |

Hey Chantal... I'm doing well. Though the Stillman's swiflty turned into VLC (I need the fat for some energy). I keep getting strength from reading all round this website. Hopefully it'll keep me going for the whole journey. Do you have a journal?

Hey! I've been reading your blog, you're doing something similar to me, and I'm curious to see how you do. I don't have a livejournal account, or else I'd leave a comment there.
Good luck! |

Hey smarie. I didn't think anyone was reading that! I mainly just keep it for myself to keep track (will be a good reference for the future I hope). I'm now past the first hellish week and loving my plan. I haven't gone this long (11 days) without binging for years. I have a more "wordy" journal on another low carb forum which I prefer to this forum for journaling - it is strictly weight loss/diet oriented since I think that is what I look for in other people's blogs/journals while dieting - it's easier than reading about snippets of personal life which mean little to me in this environment. If you go to Eating Low and click on forum, I'm there with the same username, and my journal is titled (cringeingly) "My way on the high weigh" if your interested in a more detailed account rather than just intake/exercise logging. I had a look at your journal too, and you are doing well too. I am trying to avoid refeeds as that's what got me in trouble in the first place, and I am really trying to readdress a long standing complicated and unhealthy relationship with food. But I advocate that whatever works for you is what you should do. I noticed that you are 22, like me - we youngens are far and few between round here! Good luck to you too and keep me posted on your progress.

I'm the same way, I go straight to stats like menus and scale/inch losses in people's journals.
My journal hasn't been updated in a while, I went off plan and gained ten lbs (Spring Break), so I'm working on losing it again, and will start posting it after I get back down a bit. Cool, I will definitely be taking a look at your other journal! I'm also cutting out refeeds, I definitely think they slow me down, I might use it if I hit a stall. |
