Stillmans with kidney problems

Hi all

Just been told I have some sort of problem with my kidneys (I have cysts and they think it may be polycystic kidney disease - not good!) and would like to drop some weight so that if/when it becomes troublesome, I have a better chance of fighting it.

So, is Stillman's safe to do if you have kidney probs?

Cheers, Jo x

Well I've always heard that people with kidney problems should avoid a high-protein diet. Also I would think being in ketosis would be hard on your kidneys as well. Better check with your doctor.

Good luck!
