Low carb, low fat, creamer? does it exist?

i know, it wouldnt be allowable on the stillmans, but i am struggling with my coffee issue, lol, and wondered (i searched netrition to no avail) if anyone has ever seen any kind of low carb AND low fat (or non fat) creamer? i just need my coffee to be a little white, lolol

Well, there's always MimicCreme. And yes, they have it at Netrition. It's an excellent substitute for cream, and much lower fat than 'real' cream. Take a look at it.

Now the question is: do you need it to look white, or do you need the taste? If you need the 'look,' then put a lid on it and you'll never know the difference. But if it's the taste you are needing, use the MimicCreme. I have used it for many different foods and it's delicious (for the calories, buy the unsweetened; don't bother with the erythritol version. You can always add your own sweetener).

Oh thank you!
lol, actually, you're right, i dont need it to look whiteif i put a lid on it, thats what i'll do. its the richness that creamer adds. I'll def check that out, thank you!

the "mimiccreme" seems to have the same stats as creamers such as coffeemate etc.

I am wondering if it would be workable to exchange some fatfree milk for a portion of the fatfree cottage cheese....then foam it for a cappucino. after all, cottage cheese is basically curdled milk...right?

unsweetned almond breeze perhaps?

If you are on Atkins and are not concerned with fat, then heavy whipping cream is a great creamer. Three tenths of one carb per 2 tbsp. The next best is half and half at 1 carb per 2 tbsp. I use no carb Stevia as a sweetener.
