Could I loose 50 lbs in 5 months on Stillmans?

Hi

I'm not sure if I'm being to ambitious? My boyfriend has gone on deployment with the army and I would love to surprise him when he gets home in 5 months with a new slimmer me!

I'm thinking that over time I may need to add a low carb salad so I get a little veg in, but otherwise I could be quite content eating egg, fish, and lean steak and chicken.

I would love any advice anyone can give me

Thanks

i would say it would depend on how heavy you are in the first place, as the heavier you are the faster the weight comes off, however if you stick to just meat fish eggs etc then i would expect you could loose quite a bit as when i did that at the beginning of the year i lost at least 7lbs in 2 weeks it may have been more.

so you go girl you can do it. put it with exercise aswell and you will no doubt acheive your goal

Thanks Unicorn

I'm currently 200lbs or 90kgs....i'd like to get down to 150lbs or 67.5 kgs.

I'm really determined to loose as much as possible. I've lost 50lbs in the last twelve months but it was slow because I wasnt as commited as I should have been and cheated a bit too often:blush:

Hi Pix.... I have lost 23 lbs in just under 7 weeks, and I've had a few OOPS moments. I haven't lost as much as I had intended to by now, but I'm not giving up. You will loose more at first (water weight), but if you are very strict, I don't see why you can't get close to, if not lose the entire 50 lbs.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

When I was 13 I lost 100 lbs on Stillmans Diet, it took about 2 years and I never cheated. I never exercised either, maybe it would have come off faster if I had.
The weight stayed off for a few years, then I tried it again in college & lost 50.
Good luck!

there isn't any QWL.

some people use magnesium to stay regular. QWL is not a plan for life, it really is only to lose weight. in his book he even states that it's for people who are impatient to see results and it can't be maintained for long periods.

I think if you add in some cardio and strength training you can do it. throwing in a salad a couple of time a week shoudn't hurt.

Thank you for responding to my post!

This weekend I think I have been having a bit too much almond milk, soy milk and almonds.

I think I'm going to really keep my carbs ultra low starting on Monday and start drinking water and herbal tea INSTEAD of coffee & halfnhalf & splenda.
