Question re: tuna...Please help!

Hi all!

I have a question regarding tuna on the stillman diet. The QWL food list states that tuna is acceptable, but only if its canned in water. Can it be packaged in water? The reason I ask is b/c I can't lug a tin opener around with me, and the packaged tuna is so convenient for me at work. Is this okay?? What's the difference? Does it literally have to be canned??

thank u!!

katie queston about the foil packed tuna...is it less wet than the canned? I don't mind tuna but if I can't get it drained enough I have a hard time gagging it down.

LOL, back when Stillman wrote the diet they didn't have the packaged tuna like they do now....they were all cans and not even the pull-top kind. All we had for diet soda was Tab (ew) and Fresca.....

I love the foil packets of tuna in water. I take them whenever I'm travelling........No refrigeration. No can opener.

YES!!! Its sounds strange I know but it is really good. Yesterday I had it with dijion mustard (no carbs or fat). I used to eat it on crackers years ago and forgot about it until I saw a post on it.
