Good Morning, Ladies!

I had a fantastic weekend of Atkins/Stillmans! It worked! I haven't weighed myself as yet. I have a doc's appt. tomorrow and I want to see the results of all my efforts!

Today is back to strict Stillman's! I go to the gym after work and the protein really helps me!

Take care! Good Luck!

Hello,
Sounds like everyone did great over the weekend. I am back on stillmans untill I go to vacation. Low calorie works great at maintance but for losing it is just to slooooow. I want to lose a few more before this weekend..so super strict with no cheating. I did run 3.5 miles and I felt great. I know it was the carbs in my body. So I am looking forward to hitting goal and running a little farther and harder.
Hope everyone is welll..

Meant to get back on here earlier but it has been a busy day!
Everyone is doing so good...makes me so excited to think about it!!

I am getting ready to get my evening 3 miles on the treadmill done. Eating has been right on and I am not hungry tonight!! Didn't weigh this morning and I am wondering if I should just wait until next Monday to do it...probably won't be able to wait that long but I hate puttng so much emphasis on the scale.

Check back later!!

They smell great! I didn't have any onion powder, but I added a little dill to the other spices... NOW...if I can only fight the temptation to slather one in butter when they get out of the oven!

I know, but aren't they kind of flakey melt in your mouth when they come out of the oven. Or is that just how mine turn out?
Dill is a good idea!!

Just found this recipe on the Stillman's site:
Meatballs--Low Carb Catsup Version
adapted from the Italian Meatball recipe by Glinda

I had on hand the low carb catsup (from Dawn's recipe) that I had made with no sweetener. You can use however much ground beef you wish and adjust the level of seasonings accordingly.

I used:
1 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
1 large egg slightly beaten
1/3 cup unsweetened low carb catsup
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (I used salt substitute)

I just mixed it altogether and formed it into 18 meatballs--about the size of large walnuts. Nuked it in my 1200 watt microwave on 70% power for five minutes. Or you could pan fry them over low heat until done. I have to just cut one open when I think they're done and check.

I have about a pound of ground sirloin thawed...think I'm gonna make some of these tonight...Can you say Meatball Sub...

I had to try one! They are a little dry...I usually mix some ground pork in with my ground beef for meatballs. But...they will be good on a roll with some hot sauce!

Hi Magickal,
Your jeans feeling comfortable is a good thing!! You are losing!!! Whoohoo!!!
Keep it up!

Yes the rev rolls are totally Stillmans friendly if you make them with the cottage cheese. I love them! You can make the sweet or savory depending on your taste.

You can make them into sandwiches using any kind of filling!

If you want the recipe let me know and I'll get it for ya!
