Alright, yesterday I gained 2.4 pounds eating off plan. A little of the gain was probably just getting hydrated from my drinking on Friday night. I decided to eat off plan today, too. I may fast for a day or two, although I will see if my head is in it for a fast tomorrow. Stillman supports fasting those first couple of days, too.

Slatman~ 70+ is darn impressive!

Diana~ Yes, that was a blow out, however I think the Suns may be able to sneak in a win today. I am watching Cleveland and Washington now, but I have to leave soon. So, I am tivo-ing the 4 games.

cskies~ That is some cold weather. I was outside a couple hours yesterday just looking at dogs and driving with the top down on my car and got a sunburn!

Magickal~ You are doing SO well!

Browniee~ Thanks! We are all going to get this weight off!!!!

Amy~ It has to fit into our lifestyle. The more things we allow, the slower our loss. I decided up front that I don't want to give that up completely.

I didn't know you could do 100 miles in one day!!!! That is amazing!

I weighed the same this morning, but I ate late last night. Hoping for a loss in the mornin'!

Here was today's menu:

B - egg/cottage cheese "pancake"
L - nothing
D - tilapia w/cocktail sauce
S - farmer's cheese

Coffee, water, diet orange

Have to admit to a cheat yesterday. I kept thinking about peanut butter, and I ended up eating 3 T. of peanut butter and some nuts! Now it's out of my system, and I don't crave it anymore. Oh, well, it happens . . .

All of you are so encouraging and doing so well!

Three more days of losing before April is over!

I got a sunburn again today walking around the animal shelter. Ouch! I should've put sunscreen on. I think tomorrow is going to be 90 degrees! I am not ready for hot weather.

I ate some junk food today. I am so ready to get back to plan. I am sure the scale will reflect these two days, although I am hoping Magickal is right about it falling right off.

Good job everyone!!!!

Newbie!

Hi Everyone!

Hey, been lurking around for the past month or so, tried to do stillman's a couple of days here and there...and it sure does work but there is always something that would get me off plan...a birthday, out lunch w/the gals, kids tempting me w/one thing or another...

In any case, I'm going to start today for sure! I live in Japan, my husband is in the military, and today is monday here. I have 4 kids, ages from 10 months thru 15 years old. After my third child (8 years ago), I went from 198 to 117 doing Atkins. It took me about 2 years but by experience I know that low carbing works for me. Now that I'm older, I find that it isn't as easy as before. I would really like to lose about 30 pounds before my daughter turns one in June. I decided to start posting so I have all of you to hold me accountable!

You all are an inspiration and keep up all the good posts and advice!!!

hello, checking in after a busy weekend at work...

I did end up going out last night to the bar I use to hang at every weekend, people were begging me to come visit(haveny been there since beginning of Feb)...I decided not to drink alcohol, it was hard to sit there all night, but I did it...Even though TOM is in full force today, I was down on the scales, this morning...Im very glad I didnt drink.

congrats on all the losses, and welcome Newbies...

I have been following more of a M & E type plan...
I bought some protein podwer from Netrition, its so yummy I want to drink it all day long

MsLiz! I'm not a "regular", but more of an occasional Stillman lurker... I have cycled between Atkins and Stillmans before, and it does work! You CAN avoid those treats...once your carb cravings go bye-bye!

Good Morning and Welcome Everyone!

All of you are awesome! I am happy to report a 1/2 lb. loss this morning! After not losing for sooooo long, I am so happy to see that scale move again!

Debi - Good for you! It paid off! So, the protein powders are legal on Stillman's? I've been wondering about that!

LaRon - I never thought I could stick to any kind of eating plan, but it has been almost a year without any cookies, cake, pie, etc. I guess I'm like an alcoholic; I know if I have one . . . that's it for me! I will not go back to that! There is so much available to us; recipes, food products, etc. that really helps. I love this way of life! Glad you are here! I thank all of you for your service!

cskies - Do you walk on your treadmill morning AND evening? You are amazing! (It was really cool here last weekend, too; I'm ready for it to be a little warmer. I know I will be complaining about the heat soon enough!)

Magickal1 - You are unbelievable! I wish I could lose as much as quickly as you do!

MsLiz - How was your first weekend? I hope you did well, and you will soon see some results if not already! You can do this!

Hoops - I know you will feel better on plan; I sure do! I'm always afraid that if I get off plan, I will never get back on!

Diana - Thanks to you and Magic for turning me on to Stillman's! Love ya!

Kathys52 - Hello! Yes, I am still surprised that my carb cravings are gone! Never thought that would happen! Yeah!

Slatman - The girls salute you! Wow! 100 miles!

Let's have a great, losing week!

LaRae.......im not doing legal stillmans right now....but

my egg white protein powder sounds pretty close to what the "general" stillmans rules
24g protein
2g carbs
110 calories
0.5 g of fat(since its egg whites not yolks=lower fat)

Hi all! I think i'm gonna give stillmans another go. I've been doin atkins induction off and on and haven't really gotten anywhere, mostly because I keep going off and on I did stillman a few years ago and lost almost 100 pounds. I've gradually gained it all back It's sooo time to get it back off! I have a wedding I'm in June &th. I have my dress hanging on my mirror to tell me i need to look better in it so let's see if if that helps!

HI Everyone!
Good morning. Wow, another week left in April ! I am happy to report that being on Stillmans for about a month I have dropped 14 pounds. I know, to some of you , this isn't much . For me, it is!!! There were days I cheated some so I feel good overall. YEAH!

To be honest, to this last poster here. You lost 100 pounds on Stillmans? WOW! I worry about gaining the weight back myself. I am such a worrier. Once I hit my goal I want to do everything right cuz I do NOT want to gain the weight back. Anyone else afraid??

Oh well.
Have a great day.
Here is my menu

B-eggs and lean bacon
L-tuna
D-??

Workout-one hour

Take care all
