Not at all... I wish I could go qwl all week to get to goal but my weekend eating is what I'm going to do forever so it's a good transition...

Cool. I wasn't sure of the ingredients. Now I know and may try the rev rolls myself Thanks and keep up the good work

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Hey everybody. I have lost quite a bit on Atkins induction, but these last 2 weeks have been really sloooow. I've been poking around here for a little while and decided I would try this for a few days. I have been stealing menu ideas from you all since Monday and I feel GREAT! I don't weigh in until Monday, so I won't know about any losses until then. I just thought I would drop by and say "hey"!

You did great on induction! I'm impressed! I only lost 27lbs. the first four months on Atkins, then nothing for 4 1/2 months! That's why I switched to Stillman's. You will do great on your weigh-in! Welcome!

Welcome, kaisergirl! You will definitely win that competition with Stillman's. No problem!

I'm with ya', Magic! I started Stillman's on 4/21, Monday, and I am down 4.5lbs. I'm hoping for more by the end of the month, Wednesday! That's a great idea! Love it!

I forgot to congratulate you on your loss! You sure could tell, couldn't you?!

I just bought a box of tilapia form Walmart Superstore and just so easy to cook! I really like it, except I feel I have to eat at least 3 pieces to get full! LOL!! I like mahi mahi too, I almost bought some last weekend.
I also bought some broccoli because it's being talked about and now I have a craving for it too! LOL

Denise or Slatman, when you first started exercising, did you see any weight loss right away, or after awhile?

Diana...I am thinking I saw it right away but it wasn't a big drop in weight just a weekly increase...I was doing atkins without exercise and about the time I got the treadmill (Christmas) I decided to give stillmans a try (New Year's Day) and there was an increase in loss so I don't know which activated the drop in weight...it's been a wild ride though and I love it!!

Well come to think of it Denise, I do feel in certain parts of my body are a bit smaller. All except my waist. That is the one area that stays thick!
I've been doing Pilates for that, so I hope in time it will go down too!
Thanks D!!

Exercise can be frustrating when scale watching... if you do intense exercise your bod will hold back some water for muscle repair and get glycogen from wherever possible... so you can and many do gain (scalewise) when exercising.

One of the best things I have read regarding this is "exercise for fitness....diet for weight loss" they are two totally different things... what is not included in this is the mental aspect which is the most powerfull... after you get past the first couple weeks of exercising your mental attitude will improve with the release of endorphins and you will get toned and add muscle... more muscle = higher resting metabolic rate...

So, to answer your original question I did see loss right away but it was due to the powerfull COMBINATION of diet and exercise that did it...
