Diana,

I think dropping the soda and gum does work... also, I am taking in quite a bit more water been thirsty day and night...still craving the gum weird...

typically I'll start at 204 on monday and get down to 197 or so friday morning I was suprised to see the 5 lbs since yesterday my all time low was 194 maybe I can get there Friday before my carbfest.. (sweet potatoes, brown rice, and broccoli)

Just a couple things.. keep the cottage cheese to 1/2 cup per day and if you
get hungry between meals you may need to up the fat a bit...

Slatman,
that's what I plan on doing too! I need to get off of that AS, hopefully that will get me losing.
Yeah it's amazing at how fast you lose. The water does help as well. That carb fest do sound good!!!

I'm going to be in a dilema this weekend. It's my nephews birthday and he has requested from grandma red chile for his b-day. And my moms red chile is awesome!!! Along with the spanish rice and refried beans!
That is one of my favorite meals!!!

I don't know if I should eat some or pass it by!! It's gonna be hard to pass on that!

Hi, Amy! I started Stillman's on Monday, and I joined this thread today, too!

I know that Stillman's will work for you. I am so glad that I switched from Atkins. I love eating on the Atkins' WOE, but I hadn't lost for over four months no matter what I did.

I am making progress on Stillman's. Thank goodness!

You will see great results!

If I cycle back to Atkins, it will definitely be modified. I won't go back to the full-fat, etc. I will just add veggies or maybe allow myself one wrap; not quite sure yet. Right now I am content to stick with Stillman's, but I hope I can stay on for the weekend. The revolution rolls help me a lot.

I was never able to get into ketosis on Atkins ( for almost a year of Atkins!) except for just a faint tinge of color. So far, on Stillman's, I haven't gotten into ketosis, but I don't feel that hungry unless it is "righteous hunger" like yesterday when I wasn't able to eat until after 1pm.

Magic, Diana's birthday is in December, also. Wouldn't it be funny if you had birthdays on the same day?

I forgot to congratulate those of you who have lost lbs., and those of you who are staying on plan!

I know, it's so hard but, I think I'll have to eat some fat on that day, so I don't get the urge! I'll be okay!!

Debi, I love the farmer's cheese. It is a semi-soft, skim milk cheese.

I can't taste the cottage cheese in the rev. rolls, but you already said that you tried them. What if you made them savory, would they taste better to you?

Do all of you eat as much lean meat and eggs as you want?
