I am down 9.6 total now, and I am scheduling that facial when I hit 10 pounds gone. A gf at work gave me a great referral to a place that is higher priced but she said it is marvelous. I can't wait!

Diana~ Did you enjoy 3rd quarter last night? Hey, I picked Spurs by 6 and the final was 102-96. Lucky! Now if I’d be lucky in my weight loss!

Lora~ Where do you live now?

cskies~ You are doing great and so close to goal!!!! I saw tornado and then thought.. Oh yeah, she lives near Dorothy and the tin man.

Meekness~ You have a great attitude… you messed up early in the day and instead of just giving in all day (like I typically do), you decided to move past that and follow plan.

onefitgal~ Good job on making it to the gym. The stationary bikes can be boring. Does your gym have spin classes? They are so fun!

Magickal~ Woo Hoo for 3 pounds! That is so awesome! I have a question about your refeed. I know you did it for 2 days, and did you gain any weight from it during those days of eating? I think I am a little intimidated by a big gain. I am so glad I read your fish post. I am so bored with the eating and nothing sounded good for dinner until then.

Juniper~ Nice weight loss! That is just terrific!!!

Slatman~ Is 201 up or down from where you were? You must be looking like a mean fighting machine.

Still have some sniffles but I went and had a onion with my 2 hamburger patties for lunch, skipped the cottage cheese...so I think my nose is clearing some!! I can't smell the onion but wow...I think it knocked me off my chair!!

Had some brocolli with my roast beef and well, I am feeling pretty happy about my choices....I was thinking of getting a can of frosting from my daycare stash and dipping graham crackers in the can until all the frosting was gone!! Don't know where that came from but I seriouslly considered doing that up until I stopped myself from pulling the foil top off the can!! And I don't even like canned frosting...that is why it is for the daycare not family!!

I am thinking maybe I need to take a couple of days and add some fat back into my eating...sure would like to be at goal but it is only a matter of time not (if )I get there so I can be patient!!

Everyone is doing so good with their eating and exercising and working on getting things going for them...makes for a good read!! Keep it up!!

Diana...you are doing so good on the eliptical!! I am impressed and happy for you!!
Hope you get to feeling better!!

I have to agree! Frosting!! LOL! I think you would felt sick from the sugar. Good for you not going through with it!!

And Thank you! I feel good and don't know why I didn't start sooner!!

Hi Laura, (btw, that's my little sis' name!) No, I didn't want to watch the rest of the game because I knew the outcome already!!!
I watched the DiamondBacks instead and was on here too!

I don't know what to say about the Suns, but my family and friends keep talking about this. But since I can remember, being a kid, the Suns have never gotten a break! It sux! So it's not usual for this stuff to happen to them.

Diana~ I grew up a Suns fan and they are by far my #2 team. I fell in love with the Spurs in the 90's when David Robinson signed on with them, and I just love how classy of a club they are. Suns irritated me when they signed Jason Kidd (the wife beater), although they got rid of that jerk. I still have my tank top that says "Beat LA, the Cotton Express" from 1989 when the rivalry between the Lakers and Suns was so strong. Of course, this was back in the day that families could afford going to games and the playoffs. It is darn expensive now, with most tickets about $150 for lower level. I'd to drive out to Phoenix tomorrow for a game on Friday if I could get tickets.

oh I had rainbow trout tonight omg its so yummy - oh btw fish is incredibly good for u and really makes stilmmans doable for me , since i dont eat cottage cheese the fish is like a treat each day , plus im really gettin into trying new ones and learning the benefits from it.....id suggest trying fish more than a few times a week, u wont be sry or at least im not - I use the forman grill for everything , but the fish is awesome on it only way i cook fish now . takes me 5 minutes to throw it on the gril and begin to eat fastest way to cook

Magickal~ Oh, I am so glad you're going to chart it. I go back and look at past progress, along with the times I gained. I find I gain when I avoid the scale for too long... of course I avoid because I know I gained by eating poorly and in large quantities. How much of the 100 pounds have you lost already? That is so wonderful you're losing that weight for yourself. I have quite a few to lose myself. On day at a time.

Laura,
I haven't been to a game since the 70's! That's when the tickets were afforable! Back at that time, during our State Fair, we could go watch them play for free! So I know what you mean. I'd rather just watch them lose on tv! LOL!! My favs were Paul Westphal, Alvin Adams, Eddie Johnson and Connie Hawkins and many more! Am I showing my age!
David Robinson is cool!

Omega-3 fatty acids have many potential beneficial effects including improving cognitive function in developing children, decreasing triglycerides, lowering blood pressure, reducing blood clotting, enhancing immune function, and possibly others. However, the strongest benefit from omega-3 fatty acids is reducing the risk of sudden cardiac death, which appears to be due to decreasing the risk of abnormal heart rhythms

u should have at least 6 oz a week bare minimum

That's funny Denise! Six miles is great!! I need to figure out how far in distance I'm actually going.

I don't know if it's in yards, feet or what! But it's normally over 500 something.

Thanks for the inspiration!!

Have a great evening! And I hope all goes well with your daughter!!

I slept funky last night and my left shoulder and neck are so stiff and got worse throughout the day. It is continuous PAIN! It is even shooting down my left arm a little from 15 hours of non-stop pain no matter what position I lay or sit or stand in.

Okay, I am down 10 tomorrow. I want to schedule that facial. I have the faculty v student basketball game tomorrow after school (teacher), and then I have 3 hours of workshops across town. Oh, and I have to be to work at 7 am for a meet and greet our new assistant principal at my school. Ummm... I think I'll take the day off!

Diana~ You have a just a couple years on me, but pretty close. I turn 37 this summer. We use to tease mom about Kyle Macey. I also liked Thunder Dan, Sir Charles, KJ, and the gorilla!

Good Morning!

I hope everyone has a great day! I'm having my coffee then off to exercise. Denise, I think I picked your routine! LOL!!

It's funny, I've been exercising since Monday and I haven't lost a thing! I've been eating low carb, not necessarialy all Stillmans, kind of Atkins but I'm still at 205. I need to change my weight on my sig.
But I don't know why I'm not showing it on the scales?

Here's what I ate yesterday:

B-2 scrambled eggs, 1 serving of canadian bacon, coffee w/ cream, splenda
L- 2 seafood patties, cottage cheese
D- salmon cottage cheese
Water, energy drink (sf no cal, lc, made w/splenda)
lc sf ice cream ( I know not good)

Today:
B-hb eggs, coffee w/a little cream, splenda
L- tuna, w/ hb eggs
S-hb egg
D- Stillmans orange chicken cottage cheese
Water

Earlier in the week I had a small spring greens salad, no dressing. Regardless of the ice cream, creamer and energy drink I had, I still should have lost something. . right? Or does it take time.
Now that I'm exercising, I'm paying attention to this before I hadn't.

No more ice cream, it's gone, and if I need to give up the creamer I will.

Any feel free to give me some advice!!

Oh I should say, that my body is being weird. It really feels like tom is coming, but nothing! I have cramps and feel like my appetite is not satisfied. I feel like I want to keep eating, that's why I've been eating the ice cream.
Although I haven't had tom since last November, I thought it was coming this month.

Well thanks for your helps!

Diana...I dont get that either...you are eating a good plan...not completely stillmans but even with a bit of atkins in there the weight should be dropping off! IMO
I seem to be at a standstill too but I am hoping it is just my body adjusting to all the changes that I have been making. Don't want to stop losing yet!!

Diana - U have started to excersize so u might be building muscle get rid of the ice cream and see how it works :S , but I agree with cskies still looks good as for atkins , but the low carb products like ice cream and protein bars stall me big time, u might be same way , try 1 week of total clean eating and make some meat ahead of time to feed ur hunger , then lets see if the scale will move , I went thru the same thing for 11 months i KNOW ITS SO FRUSTRATING and my menue looked alot like urs. oh how I miss the way water weight comes off of us fast and in big numbers , why cant the fat come off liek that...
cskies- good morning are u cycled into atkins hon?

Hello, everybody!

I have to abandon the Stillman's plan now that I'm a Food Addict.

New plan, new way of eating, new way of living.

Good Luck to you, all!

I will be starting a thread for the mildly curious about this plan.
