Good Morning Everyone!!!

I hope everyone has a great on plan day!!! I'm going on my 4th day.. Again!

MagicaKal, just remember you may be losing inches too. Sometimes our body needs to catch up with our losses, so just be a little patient with that. You'll see a loss soon again. But as long as you're eating on plan, there's nothing to worry about.

Hi Denise, you'll get there! You'll be losing those few lbs in no time!!! I can't wait to get where you're at!!!

Hi Kathy, you'll see those lbs drop, I'm sure!!!

Hi Debi! Hope everything is going well for you!
Hi Hoops! Hi Slatman, Hi Windycity, Hi Onefit, Hi Spenckey, Hi Juniper, Hi Dior, Hi Antigone, Hi MsLiz, Hi Moretta!

Talk to you all soon!!!

Hello All,
I was just looking over the Stillman Threads and have a few questions for you guys.

I am curently doing Atkins as I see some of you are too and cycle between the two plans.

So here are my questions......................................... .

Atkins is a high fat diet and based on what I have read Stillmans is bascially no fat. So when you guys switch to Stillmans (QWL)and lose weight don't you gain it back when you go back to Atkins and the fat/veggie carbs? This is the part that's confusing to me.

Why do you cycle between the 2 plans?

TIA for your responses

Meeha

1. boredom
2. keep metabolism up
3. break stalls
4. sustainable long term

You do gain water weight when cycling back and forth... you can't pay attention to the gain it takes some discipline..

with my carb cycling I can go from 194 to 202 over a weekend....

Hey Everyone! Looks like we have some newbies on board! Welcome
I don't have any real exciting news as far as weight loss to tell today. I'm stuck on the same weight for two days now but I know why. I went on a 14 hour road trip with my hubby yesterday for work and was stuck in the car all day. I didn't get in all my water plus I drank a Starbucks, sugar free of course. So, it's back to the grinding stone today. I hope to have this extra 20 pounds off quickly so I can fit into my summer clothes from last year. I refuse to buy new clothes!! Especially in a larger size! I'll hold out and see what Stillman's will do for me.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! It's almost FRIDAY!! Yippeee!

Jenni

Hello Ladies,

I have not started yet because I don't have my books here yet. I'm currently on Atkins Extended Induction (3rd week) and once my books get here I will give it a go. I hope it will be successful for me to.

I will not be eating any veggies strictly meat and water lots of it.

I'm pretty excited to start, but I cannot eat cottage cheese. Any suggestions to substitute the cottage cheese with some other form of cheese. I guess Ricotta is out of the question as they only sell part-skim and not fat free.

Good luck to you all. Everybody seems to be doing so well. yahoooo!!

Ditto what Slatman said! I don't really add much fat, just the veggies. When I said cycle between Atkins and Stillman's it isn't really true Atkins...I just do what seems to work for me.

Hello, everybody!

Today is the 5th day of being back on Stillman's and I haven't a clue as to how much weight I've lost since jumping back on the wagon. (I threw away the scale into the back of the closet. )

Good Morning all!

I am still plugging away. My TOM is quite late--this never happens to me so it has to be this diet I am sure. AHHH< I do have symptoms its coming one of them being craving chocolate!!!

Cskies-WOW!!! Lucky you. You may have to go to a tailor to get your new clothes taken in!!!!
That is awesome!!

Magickal-HANG IN THERE!!!! See, I told you why I don't go on the scale too much!! It is deceiving while dieting sometimes. Sometimes what will happen is you will get one big loss over time...I am sure your time is coming within days now!!! You said in another post about your clothes getting loser. Do you take measurements??? Also, make sure your eating enough. How many ounces are you eating of protein at your meals?? Keep going!!!! Look how AWESOME you have been doing since you started!

Okay, Hi to Lora! I hear you on the scale -throwing!!

HAPPY FRIDAY PEOPLE!!(Eventhough Friday is my Monday)
I'm glad to see that you all are doing well and that there are so many progresses being made.
I have never kept track of my weight using a scale b/c I am the queen of obsessiveness(sp) which is okay b/c I seem to have always been an inches girl in terms losses (apple shape baby! lol) so things seem to be okay.
I do have a ?uestion, I am doing qwl and I wanted to start back on the tae bo/ turbo jam combo. Is this going to be okay on stillmans? it was on atkins '72 but never tried it on qwl yet. Any input would be helpful.
Keep up the good work
