I got 3 miles on the treadmill done for the morning. Plan to spend some time outside getting things mulched around and looking forward to the end of winter!! They say it will be in the 70's here today!!

I am on my second cup of coffee and have had a couple of boiled eggs for breakfast!

Get busy everybody and enjoy your Saturday!!

Good morning Denise, and thank you for starting the new thread

Scale is UNDER 160 this morning....FINALLY!! Barely, but under I'm gonna take it.

I was so sore last night after that massage and still sore this morning. UGH. Next week will be better, taking the week end off from the gym.....to recuperate

Denise, I call ellipticals the machine from hell. I can only work my way up on them, can't start out like on the treadmill. Next week maybe I'll be up to 10 min. on them. They give a better work out than treadmill but tougher too. Yes, find one and try it out.

Mklady02, I quit using soft drinks when I read Dr. Blaylocks book and learned about the exitotoxins and dangers of aspartame. I'm trying to get away from Splenda also, but not making much headway. I'd like to get totally away from artificial sweeteners, but still like them

Denise, what type of work do you do that you had to terminate somebody? I'm not understanding.
Good for you for making this a strictly on plan week end. Think I will join you.

B
1 egg, 2 bacon

L
chicken/cabbage soup

S
fish fillet or Cleos' cauliflower pizza, not sure which

Linda, I am a licensed childcare provider...I run a home daycare and I take on clients with children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. I had a family that had been with me for 2 years (they had a 2 year old and a 7 month old) but had dropped to part time afternoons only and it wasn't working for me and I had to tell them I could no longer provide childcare for them. It was a hard decision and a harder thing to actually tell them. We are all ok with it now and I gave them 2 weeks to find another daycare. It gets hard sometimes because they become like an extended family but I also have to look out for myself and what I can and cannot provide for parents and their children.

Hi Ladies!

Congrats on getting to 160 Linda! That's great!!!

Good job to you to Cskies for doing the 3 miles! I think that awesome what you do! Not alot can handle that job! Your backyard is so pretty, a childs dream!!!

I'm still at 205, which is good, last night for dinner I ate some cauliflower pizza, it was good! So I'm holding and will continue to do the qwl, until probably sometime next week.

Yes, this is the month that we will make some real good progress!!!

Talk to you later!!!

Awww, Denise, I'm sure that was hard on you and them too. Your yard is beautiful. Glad it's you watching all those kids and not me I don't have the strength anymore for lots of kids...love the grandkids but even take them in doses.

Congrats, Diana, on holding the weight. Do you notice any difference when you have the cauliflower pizza? I've read so many raves about it I"m gonna try it for supper. Hoping it will turn out ok for me.

Yep, new month, new goals. Maybe I can stick around 155 for awhile or even drop lower by the end of the month. I was stuck there for months, then started gaining around Christmas and the 1st of the year when we took a trip to the Rose Bowl Parade Been fighting it ever since. I'm so afraid of gaining the weight back.

Hey, I saw a couple of other posts by ladies just starting Stillmans last week, so told them to join us here. Hope they will come. We need others to join us. The bigger, the better, for groups, right?

So far so good today. Keeping fingers crossed the evening goes well too and I'll wake up thinner tomorrow.

Hi, may I join?

I will start Stillman tomorrow or Monday. I still have a lot of bacon to dispose of...wait, can I have bacon? I mean, I grill them on the foreman?

I usually eat grilled meat...

The past few days I've been eating a lot...grilled meat., yes, but A LOT. Do you guys count your calories?

Whats a typical day's menu like?

Hi Antigone!

Here's what I had eaten last week:

B-2 or 3 hard boiled eggs
S- 1 hb egg, or cottage cheese
L- 2 to 3 slices of good low sodium deli turkey, cottage cheese
D- anything grilled; hamburger patty, chicken, steak, cottage cheese
Water 84 oz

And sometimes I change it up, but to keep it simple, I just do the same thing.

Linda, the pizza didn't affect me at all. I even ate the rest today and just kept going with Stillmans the rest of the day.

Hi there, Antigone Glad you joined us. You can find menus by going through our February thread. We usually post what we plan to eat at the beginning of the day.
I sometimes have bacon, not a lot, but 1/2 slice to 1 & 1/2 slice w/ my eggs. Some days I just have the eggs, it depends.

Hey Diana, glad to hear the pizza didn't bother you, since I"m a gonna fix it for supper, as soon as hubby gets back from the store w/ the cauliflower.

Then eat more. Nobody says how much to eat. Eat until you are satisfied.

Oh I just checked the QWL link and yeah, it doesn't say you have to limit the food.

Oh yeah Antigone, that's my food, but I eat alot of it. I may have just not eat alot of the eggs, but believe what I have eaten of the other foods fills me up, plus water and after awhile I don't feel as hungry as I did before.

But that's just me. Everyone is different.

Linda the good thing about the pizza is, it's very filling and it doesn't take much to eat and get full. You'll be having leftovers!

Antigone, there are times when I'll have 2 pieces of chicken thigh for dinner and about an hour later, I'll eat another piece. So when it comes to meats, I will eat alot of it. I just don't eat alot of the eggs or cottage cheese, they are just sides for me.

The storm must be coming from the north, Denise. We aren't supposed to get it until tomorrow night, so we should have a pretty good day tomorrow. Monday will be a different story.
Well, made the cauliflower pizza crust and had pizza, but I made a double recipe, and ate half of it, hubby had the other half. It did fill me up before I quit eating, which is a good thing, but I kept on eating, which is a bad thing. so, might not be able to eat this often. It was yummy, but not low calorie OR low fat. Hoping there is no gain tomorrow.

Wow, Denise, WTG on the treadmill, I didn't exercise today and my legs are thanking me for it
Hoping to eat a little more on plan tomorrow, or at least leaner. Thinkin' fish for tomorrow night

Linda, when I bought the stuff to make my pizza, I bought the lower fat pepperoni, but what I didn't realize was that it was a turkey pepperoni. It was very lean and very good. I didn't use alot of cheese and made my own sauce and only 1/4 c. But I doubled the recipe too.

THanks, Diana, I might have to try that too. I used hamburger, bell pepper & mushrooms for toppings, using pepperoni too for hubbies half. I used a low carb spaghetti sauce and not much cheese on top. I thought of using less cheese in the crust also, but thought I would mess it up. I might try experimenting w/ it to make it leaner. And spreading it thinner when making it also. It was good enough I had trouble stopping and that makes me nervous. It truly is a yummy crust.

Ok, up .5 this morning on the scale and still full from last nights pizza. I think I just ate too much because I got too hungry before supper. That won't happen again, darn it.
I'm still sore from the workouts this week, so I'm thankful there won't be any today. By tomorrow I should be back to normal (I hope)
I'll watch what I'm eating today a little closer, being a little leaner.

B
2 eggs 1 bacon

L
chicken/cabbage soup

S
fish fillet

NO SNACKS

Good Morning!

Cskies, sounds like you got it under coutrol! Good for you!!!

Linda, yeah, I wasn't sure how the pizza would affect you, but you'll get rid of it. I'm sure it's only water. I drank alot of water after I ate that too and it must have helped.

Antigone, you've not nothing to lose but weight. When I did this the first day I lost 3 lbs. That could have been water, but it was a jump start for me.

I actually finished up my pizza yesterday, so it will be lean clean eating for me today.
