Cheese limits

I know the book and the QWL thread says no limits, eat until satisfied, but is there a 'rule of thumb' on the limit of Farmers Cheese per day? I know many people keep cottage cheese to 1/2 a day,so would the soft cheeses allowed be safe at 4 oz per day?
The Farmer Cheese I got is only 50 calories an oz. and 0 carbs! - being from Wisconsin originally, I could eat it constantly, being 'satisfied' or 'full' wouldn't even enter into it, so I think I need a limit!

Thanks. Actually today is the first time I've even had any cheese since starting Stillmans, and it was only about an ounce or two of Farmers cheese, and it certainly wasn't as good as the 2 pound hunk of Gouda that is sitting in my fridge! It's funny how I don't even consider cheating while on this diet, I do eat huge amounts of the allowed foods so I don't feel deprived, but I wouldn't think of grabbing anything illegal. I know I will be able to have it later.
Constipation? I am already so constipated that nothing would matter! lol!

and Chronie...I know you are a true Veteran of Stillmans and have done it for long periods of time. Can you give me your story on long term? I really only have about 25 pounds to lose so could I stick to this for say 2 months or until I reach my goal and THEN transition to Atkins, or in your opinion would it be best to just do this for 3 days a week and then Atkins?

I lost 35 lbs and did really well. I was dx'ed with cancer in March and said the hell with it and ate ice cream everyday. I have a clean bill of health now after chemo and radiation and I am slowly climbing back out. I am tired alot but I know that I can do this

It can be done and once you get in the swing of things, you will NOT be hungry and feel so much better. I did it continuous until I reached goal then switched to Atkins

Yell if you need help. The food is sometimes boring but I always figured, it was not long term so I could do it. I am going to get very strict in October and hope to be at goal by X-Mass

Good Luck

Thanks so much for the info and Congrats for beating the big C!
I'm going to try to stick to this for at least 2 weeks but may continue. If I do Atkins after the weeks I will for sure do strict meat and eggs a few days a week. I'm not really bored with the food, I actually eat because I'm bored in general, hungry or not, so I am probably eating too much quantify of allowed foods. Actually I wouldn't mind getting totally bored with the same food all the time if it made me lose my interest in food! (In my dreams!)

So in October when you're diligent, I will see you around! I would like to lose 20 pounds by Thanksgiving and think this is the way to do it.

~~Does anyone STALL on Stillmans? By that I mean no loss in say 3 days or so, which may not be a stall but it is frustrating al the same!
Thanks guys!!
