Don't beat yourself up over those spare ribs.....I would just count it as a not as succesful M/E day and then get right back on plan ! You can do it, girl ! Thanks for the info on the cheese...I saw where many people use the 2% cheese on this plan, without it causing a stall. I may try that once or twice a week, just to monitor how it goes. Well, I just starting my new WOE the second week in September, so I have a long way to go. For right now, I plan to stay on Stillmans for another week, at least.....I am having faster results on this plan, but of course it is too strict to stay here until goal. I also plan to switch back and forth between Atkins and STillmans. I have just finished my 3rd week on this new WOE; 2 1/2 weeks on Atkins and then 1/2 week on Stillmans. So far, in three weeks, I have lost 15 and 1/2 pounds, so I am pleased, but I am really working hard, so I just pray it keeps coming off ! I would love to be somewhere around 150-160 by Christmas, but that is 39 or 49 pounds, and I am just not sure if that is doable in 12 weeks. I have read many posts where people have lost this much and more, in that length of time, so I am just going to remain focued and hope for the best. I would be very pleased if I can just keep losing 3-4 lbs a week. How about you...how much have you lost, in what amount of time ? How much more to you want to lose by Christmas ? Let's keep in touch with each other......we can cheer each other on to goal !

Good Morning Everyone
Well, I made it through my first cheat free weekend - stuck it through all weekend ![]() I only had a weak period of time yesterday afternoon, I had made my hubby/son some cinnamon rolls for breakfast, I was soooooooo tempted for sweets, but I stuck it out. I'm glad I made a whole pan of the egg casserole cause that's what got me through the day. On the 2% cheese - Kraft makes the best kind - costs a little more, and I've tried the generics but they don't melt as well, or taste as well for that matter. I've found that I can use the 2% cheese in moderation, like 1 slice a day and still losing weight with Stillman's. Egg Casserole Recipe: I made it this weekend, for 1 8"X10" pan: 12 Eggs, beaten 1 lb. turkey sausage Shredded cheese - I cheated a bit and found some low cal shredded - cheddar/colby mix. Spice to your taste, I used some fresh ground black pepper and just a pinch of salt. Mix all these together. Spray your pan with pam - I used a glass corningware pan. Pour into pan. I cooked at about 350 degrees until it looked done (maybe 1/2 hour or so), and checked the middle with a knife to see if was solid. Then I sprinkled more shredded cheese on top, shut the oven off and let the cheese melt on top. It tasted pretty good. Have a great day everyone, will check back in later! Jane |

On the egg casserole, I forgot to mention to cook the turkey sausage up first, drain any grease, use paper towel also to get off any grease.
I want to try it sometime with turkey bacon, too, imagine it would taste just as good. Jane |

Hi all!
Well yesterday wasn't too good for me. I was right on with the Stillmans. I had my Farmers Cheese and Cottage cheese early cuz I really wanted cheese. and made like a pot roast for dinner which was so good, but just soaking in it's own grease, and even cutting off the fat, I could just taste the richness of the fat. So I figured, okay, then today will be more Atkins...so then I ate a couple pieces of regular cheese!! Gouda! so gooda! Anyway, I feel I totally failed yesterday because of mixing the two plans and eating way too much cheese! Today I am starting clean, and strict Stillmans! Jane,Thanks for the recipe, sounds yummy! I bought Turkey pepperoni this morning, very low fat but haven't tried it yet, hopefully that will be okay, I'm not too fond of some of the turkey products out there but haven't tried turkey sausage yet, and I LOVE sausage, so I will have to give it a try. Brenda, 15 1/2 pounds in 3 weeks is unbelieveable!! That is so excellent! Congrats! I lost 10 pounds in a month of a combo of 2 weeks each of Atkins and Stillmans. Well, this Tues. will be 4 weeks, and yesterday I kind o screwed things up but so be it!rartz, I've used the egg whites, not egg beaters since they do have added chemicals, but really just whole eggs seem to be what most people do. They say they are the perfect protein and I was leary of the yolks at first too, but that's where the nutrients are and everyone seems to be eating them and losing just fine so I wouldn't worry about it. Eggs are the best "bang for your buck" even though they are way too expensive lately too! Good Luck with the restart of QWL, I'm right with ya there! October is a new month guys, and let's set some goals and reach them! What do you all say? Last edited by Twitime : 10-01-2007 at 08:16 AM. |

Hey, we all have a slip from time to time. The true test is if you can get over it and back on track without beating yourself up... I don't realy think what you ate the other day woulod have that much of an overall effect.
