I think after some sleep I am finally going to be brave and try to make Atkins Rolls........6.5 years I have feared trying to make these just because of egg white peaking LOL

::::In my best Richard Simmons voice::::: Today is a new day people! Let’s not dwell on the past! Get out those eggs! Slap some chicken this way! A one and a two…..

I cannot even talk about what I’ve been eating the past 4 days But yesterday I hopped back on the wagon and have sworn off nuts the rest of my life. They are truly a ‘gateway’ drug/food for me.

Yesterday when I got up I was up to 220!!! I know a lot of that was water but MAN O’ MAN I never wanted to see that number again! This morning I was back to 218 but still 5 pounds more than my stats Giving myself to the end of the week to get back to 213 or I’ll change it. :::talking to self:::You hear me missy??

I also brought my tennies to work hoping I’ll be motivated to walk during my lunch break. The book I’m reading isn’t that great so it shouldn’t be too hard to talk myself into it. Have some meat in the fridge. Back to Stillman’s QWL. I think it was Debi who said it best -The more boring the better. I do need my head examined because whenever I DO meet goal, I have to get over these issues or I’ll be right back up to 200 pounds in no time. Or I could just eat ONLY eggs & meat the rest of my life. Sorry, that ain’t gonna happen. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some meat & eggs. But I would prefer to learn moderation and live a more disciplined but still diverse style of eating.

Hope to BBL…..Here’s wishing you all a lean and mean day!!

Hi ladies. Sorry I haven't been around much. I have been absolutely swamped at work! Things are a little more quiet today, thank goodness.

My eating has been horrible. Today is another day and I am giving it another go. I know I can do this, but for some reason I can't get going. I don't want to go through another summer being fat, no way.

For right now I am not doing Stillman's, or even Atkins induction. I am just lowering my carbs drastically for now, then I will switch over to Atkins induction, and then probably Stillman's. I'm jsut trying to find something I will stick to.

I did change my stats, for accoutability, even though I am VERY embarassed. Night time is my biggest challenge. Tonight when I get home I have tons to do around the house, so I am hoping by staying busy I won't have time to think about snacking. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Gotta get back to work. I am hoping this week will be slow so that I can come back and do personals. I hope everyone has a great day!

Made it back from the grocery store......$170......I think the stress and exhaustion hit me midway thru the store.....I am beat!!!! I didn't buy alot for that but there is always the weekend

I ran into one of the out of town workers in the parking lot at the grocery store and personally went up to him and thanked him for all his hard work and sacrifice......I would not be home without him and people like him. He works for a company named Asplunde.......they are the tree crew that goes in and cleans and trims the trees so the next crew can come in and replace power poles and lines. He said they are nationwide and come from all over for situations just like this. He also said this is one of the worst ice storms he has seen in over 20 years of doing this. They have 200 crews working thoughout the city!!!!!! God bless them!!!!!

Yoooo Hoooo Sleepy Heads

I was so excited I just had to post first thing this morning. 218 yesterday morning, 214 this morning!! YAY I know I shouldn't have gained it back to begin with....but I'm glad it fell off quickly. I'm just adjusting my brain so I don't get FCC (False Carb Confidence) When you think "Hmm, I gained a few but it came right back off. Sugar now and then won't hurt too bad." That has been my cycle of the past. It becomes a weekly indulgence and the scales stop moving down.

Better get a move on and finish getting ready for work. BBL Hope you all find warmth inside and out today

Melly....here's a terrific article about your Colt's coach http://www.breakingchristiannews.com...f.html?ID=3534

Here is a link to some of the pics I took over the last 11 days. These pics were taken in areas that had mild damage, if you can call this mild. The areas where the worst damage was was eventually blocked off. It was too dangerous to be there.......power lines everywhere!!

WOW Melly - that is just unbelievable. HUGE trees split right down the middle! We had a very bad ice storm here when I was in ele. school. I remember my grandparents having all their pine trees cut down immediately after that. One fell and Granny didn't want to ever take another chance so she had them all taken down. Can we say extreme?? LOL Did you have any property damage? We have lots of trees in our yard. I dare not think of what our house would look like after something like this Glad you're ok

Angela no damage at my house but others here were not as lucky. My mama had some minor damage at her house but not too bad. The worst part is the trees.......alot of them are destroyed......others might bounce back but it will be years. My daughter said yesterday, when we got back to Springfield, "Mommy the trees are all chopped up....it is so sad" Even at her young age she can see the magnitude of the devastation

Hidee Hidee!
I've been around but a little busy at work. Gots a bunch of inputting to 'put in' I'm holding steady at 214. Want to see that one pound go away so I can get into 'new loss' mode. Got some divinci syrup last night so I'll be cutting back on my splenda carbs. I quit creamer cold turkey but I haven't been able to make myself drink coffee completely black!

I'm glad to hear you all (those posting) are alive! Maybe not kicking (with the colds and all) but alive just the same! Hope you sickly ones get well fast! Even you PMSers It's only one week out of the month The alternatives could be much worse I was going for almost a straight year!! AND I cannot take ANY hormones whatsoever! This WOE has helped that tremendously. Had I known, I would have been LCing LONG ago. Last time I LCed I never had one . Preggers is also not a good option for some

No complaints here....a little blue this time of year. I read somewhere recently that 1/26 is the most depressing day of the year?!?! Let's be prepared with something interesting or fun Friday! I'm gonna finish painting my cabinets!! That may sound depressing to some....but it's that much closer to being finished! I must brag a little on DH. He is doing an amazing job for an amature carpenter. He has built all our upper cabinets from scratch! I ain't so bad my own self I learned how to miter corners and put all the trim mouldings on the doors! I'll have to post some before and afters....especially of this kitchen! Got a shot of Daisy standing in the new corner cabinet last night (on top of the counter!!)

Back to "putting in" Have a wonderful day!!

Hi all! I'm here. I've still been swamped at work.

First of all, to those of you that are sick and/or PMS'ing. I hope you feel better soon.

As for me, I am still struggling, but I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE UP. I will do this, even if I have to keep starting over every day. I know I can do this! I am going to try and post more often. I think that would help. Today has been okay so far. If I can get through this evening without messing up I will be doing good. for me. I need all the help I can get.

I've got to get back to work. I hear the boss coming down the hall. Later everyone.

Melly - I am really excited. Not just a new kitchen but a whole new house. We have gutted the entire home (less three bedrooms, they got paint and mouldings) But the kitchen really is the best part I get plumb giddy over my new stove It has the smooth top. I can't decide what to cook first!! It's totally new colors as well. The walls are green and we are going to use a little black for accent (back splash will be black bead board, I'm gonna distress it on the edges to give it a little character and depth. Hmmm I know a few people that could use a little distressing to add character & depth ) Our cabinets are off white with a little taupe glaze in all the nooks and crannies.

Hey Susan! Good to see you....I found something the other day that really helped me. Gonna post it below just for you And anyone else that needs a boost.

Keep Driving!
"Losing weight is a process," says Howard J. Rankin, PhD, clinical psychologist and author of Inspired to Lose (Stepwise Press, 2001), "one that requires work and naturally involves problems. So falling on and off the weight-loss wagon is to be expected."

Think of it like a road trip. When you first get on the road, do you expect to never have to stop and get gas? To never have to check the road map to get your bearings? Also, when you get lost, do you get frustrated and say, "Forget it, I'm going back home"?

No. You keep going. Because the place you want to go is worth the trip, and giving up is not an option. It helps to look at weight loss in the same way: You will get to your weight goal, no matter what the route. Rest stops along the way are only pauses. They're not failures; they're lessons learned. It's getting over the fear of failure that stops a lot of people from seeing weight loss as a journey. When you've lost and gained over and over, the prospect of dieting can become more intimidating, rather than less. You don't want to be disappointed again. It can be hard to get back on track.

Here I am Melly...........DID Y'ALL MISS ME????

As you can see from my siggie I fell off the "cheat free" wagon. Was really busy over the weekend and didn't eat all day then blew it at McD's (and I don't even really like McD's except for the fries). So still keeping track of the days and pounds, but sadly will not be counting the cheat free days (not that I plan on having more, it's just that I've broken the chain now, so I must go on from here.) On the bright side I made it 21 days........so that's a miracle.

Back on track now and may even do STRICT STILLMAN'S Thurs., Fri., Sat., and Sun.

Hi to everyone.........DH has been so busy on the computer working nearly 20 hours a day so I have very little time to pop on........but I'm here, still hanging on.

Will try and catch up on the posts later............BYE FOR NOW!!!!

Miss everyone............next big purchase will have to be a lap top.
