I'll be out of town Dec 26 thru Jan 1, so no fasting for me that week! I was thinking about doing one yesterday, but I ended up bringing a layered salad I made for my son (not low fat) to work. TOM is due any day, for I gained 2 pounds on the scale yesterday. I haven't weighed this morning, but will do that in a few.

Okay, I am off for the day!

Oh wait... Mom to Daisy... I buy 4% fat ground beef (super lean) and use that for jerky. I have one of those jerky gadgets, and I highly suggest buying one. It makes it perfect. You can season it with anything you like, and you don't need the curing salt. It has been a long time since I made any of that.

Thanks for the info Hoops. Since I posted that jerky Q, I have been looking around the web. I did see one of those gadgets. I doubt I'll be getting one before Christmas.

YES!! I did see the scale move 219. I know it's not for real yet due to my lack of food consumption but I'm happy none the less! It's a metal thing I'm sure. Probably have medication for it if I shared this info with a Dr.

My child is the most wonderful creature in the world! Right before I left her at my Mom's this morning she said "Mom, you look like you have lost weight in that shirt." (mind you I have wore this shirt many times before and she's only 7.....trying to articulate weight loss without hurting feelings is a huge feat!! LOL) I gave her the biggest hug and all the money in my purse! It really was a good feeling.

As predicted, this is a new day. Much less stress than yesterday even thought I woke up with sore throat . Going to continue my coffee/crystal light fast today. Never heard of that one have ya?? The toilet seat sized danish is almost gone. These guys are like locusts. Not even tempted this morning. Even last night's predicted stress was less. Micro managing director even stayed in my class the whole night. We just got a few things straightened out and all is well.

Just got the call, my countertops are ready!! :::Cartwheels::: (yes even at my weight I can do a mean cartwheel....shocked the socks off all the girls in my Wed. night class!)

I'd better do some official work. Although they all left me alone in the office once again. Have a lean day everyone!

Hi guys,
wanted to say good morning. I have to work out and thendeliver holiday bags to the eldery through our voluteer program. I realized last night I have 30 days until I have surgery and I so want to be a bit smaller before then so onward I trudge.

Please continue posting your menus for us newbies on Stillmans. It helps.

Just waving quickly......working a 1/2 a day today and then taking my momma to get her hair done and I am getting mine done right after her....WOO HOO I have not had a perm in over a year.....I am EXCITED!!!!

I had a great workout this morning....still sore but slowly getting there

After the hair appointment I am going to try to get a little Christmas shopping done......it is so much easier to do it during the week and during the day....weekends at ANY store are just crazy

181.2... lost 2.8 pounds since yesterday on my juice fast.

Looks like I'll be juicing today too, till I have a salad for dinner. I'm gonna juice tomorrow. Not sure about Sunday yet. We'll see.

Good morning... all

Angela.. love your pic and attitude.... hold on..

Michele... ouch.... but hold on to your eating pattern... you are going down..

Chantel... you look great... what surgery are you having...?

Brittany... welcome and yes Stillman's works..

so... my comments... Stillmans is the back bone of how I ate to lose and eat to maintain... that said... I do and did have some fat and veggies along the trip... I use to post my foods...they were mono..

B 2 boiled eggs aunatural..
L roasted chicken no skin
D steak or eggs boiled..

but on weekends I ate only 2 meals
B 2 eggs
Late L steak or chicken and salad or cooked veggie...

I also learned to hate cottage cheese.... lol..

but I also had grilled salmon.... occcasional pork chop... and low fat low salt cheese.... from time to time...

oh and red wine... merlot or cab... 1 glass almost every night...

now ... I eat about the same but have added yogurt plain and non or low fat
and recently goat cheese with herbs... and a few Kavila crackers... a pear or apple 2 x per week...

the think I keep formost in my mind is that I am a Carbohydrate addict and can never go back to sugars, and starches... period and amen...

And Calories count.... too ..... watch out for those nuts... salt counts too.... it makes me gain.. 3 lbs at a time... lol

now I am late...

just thought I would share my experiences..... hope I helped someone...

Melly.......I have been afraid of getting new haircut as long as I can remember....the only thing I ever do is get it colored now and a slight trim every 12-14 weeks(every other color appt).
In 1997, I got brave and told the hair dresser to cut a lot off, well with my curls it ended up going above my shoulders, I cried for months. I also refused to get another haircut for over 2 years!!! Alos, had bad perm expereince back in 1985 lol

ok its the 15th....one day short of 2 months and I am at 222.0 =32.5 pounds gone so far!! will check again tomorrow

Hello all you losers...............(said in the nicest possible way...... )

TOM is still here and I'm still NOT weighing.............

I'm going to get REALLY SERIOUS in 2007...........I'm tired of NEVER reaching my goal..............so for the first time EVER I will be CHEAT FREE UNTIL I REACH GOAL WEIGHT.

I know many say don't wait until the first of the year, but I'm really gearing myself up.......you know pysching myself up for the long haul of NO CHEATING. Birthday in Feb., NO CAKE this next year, won't "cheat for Easter" or anything else and I SHOULD reach my goal of losing 40-50 pounds quickly and easily with no cheating............I MEAN IT NOW.........STOP LAUGHING........... The PEACH WILL HAVE SUCCESS IN 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im really disapointed today I woke up the last two days with gains..and Ive been eating really good. Eating eggs for breakfast, chicken breast for dinner, and either fish or something like that for dinner. I started drinking water with the sugar free stuff in it. would that have ne thing to do with it? Im really discouraged...

put all the food you are eating in fitday. Look at your calories and fat. I did not used to do that, but when the weight did not come off, I did it and noticed I was eating too much

Hey Michelle.. I love salads could eat them all day every day they are much easier than m/e for me for some reason.. I didn't expect the scale to move this
week with the salads but I've dropped 2 so.......

I think my prob with the recent weight gain (summer 2006) was soup & crackers I was eating with the salads... a lot of cream base soup and a bunch of crackers.. I also had salad "wraps" and the occassional chicken strip salad..

Hi December Dolls!

Chantel~ What surgery are you having in a month?

Melly~ I'll send you some curls. I always was envious of straight hair, but I must admit that curly hair is easy. I am sure it will look better in a few days. I had one really bad hair experience. All my hair was one length past my shoulders, and the next thing I know my bangs are being cut at my eyebrow level, which means they crept up to the top of my forehead! I cried. that was back in May or June of 1991. Funny how we remember the dates.

Angela~ I am picturing that mean cartwheel! I want my clothes to lose weight, too! You're very pretty. I took a look at who I am talking to, as suggested.
