I'm new on Stillmans!
Hey guys, Im so happy i found this website. My name is Amy Lyn and I am from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia Canada. About 6 months ago I lost about 35 lbs doing the atkins, but came to a stall. I have gained about 5 back and came across the stillmans. I found it alot more of a healthier diet for me because on the atkins I was eating alot of high fat foods like processed meats and things. I started Stillman's yesterday.
I was wondering if anyone has any "snack" food ideas. And also can you eat Dill pickles on this diet? wierd question i know. thanks! |

Can someone post a typical day for newbys..So far all I have is hard boiled eggs, chicken breasts, ocal diet pop and water. Is 2% cottage cheese allowed? I have two weeks to fit into a skirt. Slimfast was in a stall so I need to get things moving again.

Hi and welcome,
I am just starting out too. At the top of the Stillman's forum there are 3 diets. You can pick which one you want to do as they are all a little different. I decided to do the Stillman Quick Weight Loss (QWL) as sort of an induction or Phase 1 for a couple of weeks and then move on to the 14 Day Shape-Up Program for ongoing weight loss or Phase II and then move to the Inches Off Diet for pre-maintenance or Phase III. However, I am sure you can just pick one if you like and do it. I am sure there are much more experienced Stillman's dieters who can give you more details. Good luck and best wishes to you.

Welcome Amy
![]() Read the 4th thread on this page, titled "Dr. Stillman's Quick Weight Loss Diet" - it should show the guidelines and what you can eat. Sorry but I don't think pickles are included, unless someone else has used them on the diet, maybe others here can comment as well. I'm from dry & dusty western Kansas in the good ole' USA. Nice to meet you, good luck on the diet! I've lost 24.5 lbs. since starting back on it 7-16-07. It really works.... ![]() Jane |
