Hi everyone.......I got up this morning feeling thinner hopped on the scale right after getting out of bed and going potty and the scale read 157.8 which is down from 159 yesterday.....took my son to school and before I ate breakfast thought I would weigh again, I usually do this because I usually weigh less after I have been up for a while....the scale read 158.8....what????? I got on again and 159.4 stupid scale..I finally gave up The scale may need a new battery

Okay, Ladies, Here We Go!!!!!


Where do you want to be at the end of this month?
What are you going to do and what are you going to say NO to get there?

I want to weigh in the 150's by the end of the month!
That is 13 pounds to lose!
1. T-Tapp 4 x per week
2. Cardio 4 x per week
3. Stick with eating plan!

I weighed 172.5 Down 2.5 more! I weighed in fully clothed at the doctor's office today at 173. So, I think my scale is doing just fine. I can't wait to get back into the 160's. I peaked in there last week, but then gained all that weight over the weekend. I am hoping I will be there this weekend!

I got the blood work done today. I am going back next Wednesday for the reading. I sat with the doctor (first time with him), and we discussed all the tests. I rattled off like 6 things I wanted, so he talked with me like I am intelligent instead of how some of them talk down to patients. I really liked him! Okay, hoping my numbers are good next week. My blood pressure was 114 over 62.

Cocosmama~ Get that darn battery! That scale is jacked! I'd go with the first figure.

Hi!

I've somehow lost .5 lbs since Thursday, even though I was a non-stop eating machine in New Orleans. Following more of an Atkins plan for the next few days due to social eating commitments.

Melly -I'm glad your mom is doing well.

Laura -Awesome pics! You and your son are both beautiful!

Hey girls.......just marking my spot.....so to speak

Long day today but I am home and in my jammies and ready for bed. I am hoping to get back into my routine by Monday.....at least as far as the gym in concerned.....man do I miss it.

I was at the hospital this morning before 7 and stayed til 12:30 then went to work and back to the hospital by 6 and just got home. My mom is doing great. She had physical therapy today twice and did great. I am amazed at her pain level......she is doing awesome!!!!!

I will check in when I can but I am here in spirit.......thanks for all the love you all show

Melly so glad your mom is doing well, take care..

Laura.... I loved the gym but did bulk up and then had nothing to wear...
I had fantastic muscles under my fat... Seriously leg and thigh muscles are important to keep in shape... as I watch my mom age her legs are her weak spot.. I run up and down 40 steps to my house... a much easier trip since I lost all those ugly pounds...

I weighed 211.4 the 2nd. of October... Yesterday I weighed 193... that's 18.4 pounds in one month... works for me...

October wasn't a great month in terms of weight loss. I started it out gaining, and then losing the same weight over and over again. I managed a 2.5 pound loss for the month, which is better than a net gain, however this month is going to be different. I need that mindset I had back in August. I am ready!

Doit~ You melted in October!

Michele~ How did the second interview go?

Pammy~ I certainly don't want to bulk up, just tone. I think a toned body looks very appealing, but not a manly body on a lady.

Hi! Sorry I 'split' on you guys before the month's end. I still haven't been feeling 100 percent and therefore let myself go overboard on Atkins-friendly foods instead of sticking straight with Stillman's. I started out, Oct. 1 at 190 and this morning I am 183 so nothing to knock anyone's socks off over, LOL, but I did average 7 lbs for the month of October so I'm still lower. When I get the chance to take my measurements I will send them in since I posted mine at the beginning of the month. Not expecting anything spectacular there either. For November I'm going to be fasting, so I'll be spending most of my time in the fasting thread probably.

Just wanted to say to...

Melly-- Hope your momma is recuperating well from her surgery. I'm glad to hear it went successfully!

Karen-- to you too! I'm so sorry your dad isn't doing well and that your grandma is in the hospital too! Wow, when it rains, it pours.

Still holding at 193 even.......I'll take it, I've been so busy and not being home alot, I'm glad I haven't gained. Hopefully back on track today and from here on out.

I'm staying away from the scale till TOM is here and gone (please hurry) I'm bloated and crampy and I think I could have eaten a cow yesterday I'm thinking that he going to show up early instead of waiting until the 9th because I feel awful

I'm extremely sad.............

My dads mental status has just completely gone down hill within 5 days, doesn't really recognize anyone and he is very agitated and was swinging at the nurses tonight. My brother and I spent 3 hours at the nursing home today filling out paper work, he gets transfered there tomorrow. The only nursing home that was able to take him is 45 minutes away, so I may not get up there as often as I'd hoped.

Dad was a nursing assistant for 33 years and I was a nurse for 14......he never wanted to be put in a nursing home because he knew how horrible they could be.........it is truly breaking my heart that his condition has worsened so fast.

My eating has really suffered today, I got a call around 11 am that we had to go to the nursing home so my brother took me out to eat lunch, we could only find fast food places so I ate chicken fingers and fries.........then when I finally got home for dinner I had a sandwich and 3 bite size candy bars........

Oh well I'm afraid tomorrow will not be much better, it is back to the nursing home when he gets transfered from the hospital, but hopefully my eating will be better though my mood will not.........
