Day 2... restart....

Menu:
Grilled chicken tenders 3 times (about 25 oz total)
1/2 cup sf jello

Exercise:
30 minutes walking/jogging
T-Tapp Tempo Arms

My new man thought about my situation (ex bf staying in my guest room) long and hard, and thankfully he decided he cares too much about me to walk away. I would NEVER cheat, although I understand how the situation is not to his liking.

Heather~ Nice to see those shoulder curves. I love shapely arms!

Megan~ What belt are you?

Amber~ You can do it again! This time you're going all the way to goal! I am not sure if the other drinks affect the rate of loss. I drink water, diet soda, and Crystal Light. What a fun idea to have those pants laying out for next week. Hmmm, I have a size 12 skirt I really want to get into that has a cute suit jacket to go with it.

Karen~ I ate the roast beef when I was on vacation in August. I didn't gain during that time, but I didn't lose either. I can't go to the bathroom at all from 8am to noon. So, I don't drink until then usually.

Michele~ That is good information to know. I do not want problems with my colon as I get older. No way! Hmmm... all the contradicting information makes it hard to decide which way to go with so many health issues. You're doing so well! Enjoy your little getaway!

Doit~ I am with you... I stay away from the pills, including vitamins and mineral supplements. I avoid caffeine most of the time, too. I do love that new diet Pepsi Strawberries and Cream though.

Melly~ Awesome news on the $600! Saying a prayer for you mom.

Jennifer~ 17 pounds! You go, girl!

Livvi~ I weigh everyday. I just love getting on that scale. I notice I sometimes skip it when I've eaten poorly. I think it is like an honesty scale more than anything else for me.

Susan~ You must be down one clothing size now!

Theresa~

Hello everyone else!!!!

Good evening Ladies! I'm finally getting the chance to post before the day comes to an end. Was back down to 184 this morning on my scale but even better...I had a Dr. appt. this afternoon and their scales weighed me at 183! Not claiming it officially tho until I see it on my scale but it felt fantastic to hear that number repeated to me and even moreso seeing the looks on the nurse & doc's faces when they compared that with what I used to weigh! Priceless!

...Even stranger is they measured my height as being only 5'4" whereas I always thought I was 5'5". Have I shrunk somewhere along the line? LOL! So I guess I'll be changing my stats now

Wednesday's menu:
2 med meatballs (homemade)
4 oz lean ground turkey patty
2 bites of a chicken wing (had the skin on so I nibbled around it--hard to do!!)
mug of Senna tea
112 oz water

cals: 370
fat: 21
carbs: 0
protein: 42

Have also been considering throwing in a 1 day fast this week to give my mind & body a refresher and my weight a little boost. I'll be playing it day by day.

Amber--I'll have an occasional diet soda maybe once or twice a week and very seldom a mug of coffee, CL, or some green tea (been awhile, got a bit burned out on it). As long as it's sugar free I'll allow myself some if I'm really wanting something other than water. I just stay aware that the carbs still do add up so I have them only every once in a while. Also I like to add a tsp. Splenda or SF vanilla Da Vinci to my coffee or Senna tea.

Melly-- So sorry to hear about your mom! My prayers are with her.

Everyone is doing so well! I'm proud to be a part of this wonderful group! KUTGW everybody

Today is day 5 of Week 1 for me and I already love it, and have no doubts I'll finish all 12 weeks. I agree, I don't get as much out of it at home as at the gym. For some reason, when I'm at the gym, I WORK, but when I'm home I keep thinking of laundry needing to be done, or the dog needs a bath, etc. I belong to the Y, but I moved so it's 35 mins away from me now, and some days I'm just not up to the drive, so I end up working out at home.

And I'm completely addicted to working my upper body out! I LOVE that my arms hurt something fierce! lol sick I know, but man it makes me feel good.

I'm struggling to keep strict LC with all the hard workouts, but I think I'm just in a "figuring it out" period, and I'll get it worked out soon.

203.6.... has to be cause I ate after 7 last night.

so I won't be doing that again tonight.

King...Prince...Pauper.... that's the way to eat.. and NOT after 7

Although...Stillman says to eat 6 smaller rather than 3... that might be another reason along with the after 7 thing.

WooooooHooooooo, finally after 3 days of weighing the same.....I weigh in this morning as........196.5.........woohoooo down 1.5 after 3 days!!!!!!!! And TOM coming at the end of the week, I'm thrilled.

Laura~~~Glad your new BF is okay with the situation now. You keep on track now, ya hear.

Doit~~~I tried the eating 6 small meals on Fat Smash and I hated it, people think they obsess over food now, it gets really bad eating every 3 hours, I absolutely hated it, although some say they like it, it's not for me. Also on the 6 small meals a day, I always ate after 7pm, always.

Butterfly~~~It was a "little" difficult to try lifting weights while low carbing, but doing BFL was the first time I really attempted to lift so I never knew how it felt to do it at higher carbs, if that makes sense? It does get better though and had no problems developing muscle or losing inches.

Amber~~~I drink water all day, will get some crystal light around 9pm and it sits beside my bed at night in case I get thirsty (which is rare), and I just started trying the hot teas, still not a huge fan but they are growing on me, so far I only add splenda and I might drink 3 cups a week. Haven't noticed a stall but I mainly drink water anyway.

Faith~~~WTG on weighing less on the doctor's scale, I'm sure you know that most people weigh more..........

Well, past another couple of temptation tests. Got up this morning and baked 2 dozen blueberry muffins for DH, DD and I'm taking some to my dad, also made dad some tuna fish, he likes his with sweet pickles and regular mayo so I couldn't eat it ( ) I did taste a tiny bit to make sure flavor was okay. And now I'm sitting at my desk at home and looking at the huge Hershey's bar DH ate half of last night and left the other half laying here...... And with TOM coming that is a big one to resist!!!!

I am a good girl, not gonna touch the stuff!!!!!!!!

Day 80~~~~~ 165 lbs even

I really need to poo( I know TMI). I think I would weigh less if I do

Yesterday
1/2 sirloin steak
1/2 cup cottage cheese
2 sour cream and onion potato chips ( damn employee left the bag open in front of me)
1/2 cup sf jello
handful of cashews

the damn salt. another weekend and the temptation will be over with

I would really like to be 162.5 by day 90. That would be 30 lbs in three months

Hello ladies! Hope everyone is doing good today. I finally got a break. I have been up to my eyeballs in paperwork all morning!

My weight was the same this morning. No biggie. I used to get freaked out when the scale didn't move and try to "tweak" my plan, but not anymore. I know I am eating right and I absolutely love this plan. It is so great not to be obsessed with food all the time. I feel so free now! That's good motivation for me not to eat junk.

Karen~I knew you wouldn't touch that candy! If I can leve the pop tarts alone you can certainly leave the chocolate alone.

Have a great day ladies!

The headache is here!

First day back on Stillman's and the headache and yukkiness is here. But I'm not cheating! I'm so determined to do it right this time.

Hope weight loss shows on the scale tomorrow morning. I did my weight lifting this morning and I want to do some cardio tonight. Will see how I feel, but I have a night "off" from being a soccer mom tonight! yeah!

Here's to quick weight loss!

Hi Ladies!

I'm going to be eating more Atkins-like for the rest of the week. We're going out of town this weekend, and my in-laws want to take us out to dinner Sat. night to a very Stillman's unfriendly restaurant. Plus there will be times when my only low-carb option would be a salad. I'm starting now to adjust my system. that I'll probably gain a few lbs.

Faith -WTG!!

Susan -You're so pretty. You and Karen have good genes.

Hoops -Glad your BF is OK with your arrangement with your ex. Just remind him he's your "ex" for a reason.

Good evening everyone.

Today was kind of a meat fast day vs. stillmans day for me. I woke up running late for work and did not have any more chicken breasts left over so I heated up my microwave bacon and ate that for breakfast. Then I ate the rest when I got home for dinner.

So total for today: 8 pieces of bacon - according to the package it was 320 calories total. I tried to soak up as much of the fat as possible but I know it was higher than it should be.

Good luck Jennifer adding back in carbs/calories. Are you going to return to stillman's after this weekend? I was thinking that I'm going to have to have a few days of more M/E fast eating or regular LC. Stillmans is easy to do when at home but very difficult when eating out or visiting with family. I plan to have my "off" days and then jump right back to Stillmans until under 200. It's going to be a while...

I hope everyone had a great LC/LF day!!

Amber

jennifer...try doing the Inches-Off Diet. It's still Stillman. It's under the (Other Plans) where you find this thread. That is Stillman's diet of veggies and fruit. It might be the one you need to deal with that resturant.

This is what I've had to eat today.

2 chicken breasts
1.5 cups of spinach
1/2 cup of sugar free Jell-O
5 oz of steak

Calories...857
Fat...24
Carbs...12
Protein...145
