Thanks everybody! I'm trying so hard to stay positive but I think what really got me is being so bloated I went up almost 2 sizes in a week (I usually wear a 14/16 and I went to Old Navy today and their 16's wouldn't fit. The Lee and Levi 16's were nice and comfy, but I always wear a 14 in Old Navy, so it just made me feel like crying). I don't think my Sodium is bad, but I know I'm not really going enough.
I tried the Senna tea and got so sick I had awful stomach cramps for two days (It WORKED really well, but made me sick as a dog), so I tried Psyllium husk, and it did the same thing to me I know TOM is coming in a few days, so that may be why, but it doesn't explain why it's been A WEEK with no change! *sigh* I know I need to be patient, but I think my irrational fear is being fat again. Ok well so I'm still fat, just less so , but I can't handle the thought of ballooning out of control back up to 270, and that's what I'm afraid is happening, that I'll just continue to gain and gain for no reason until I'm back where I started. I know it doesn't make much sense, but I'm terrified of it. I swore to myself I would never go back to that again, and got all the way down to 193 and now I'm looking right at 200 again...

Posting now because I am off to bed and have to leave the house by 7:15 am for a math workshop across town from 8-3.
I am NOT looking forward to it. I forgot that I was attending until I read an email reminder just as I was leaving for home from work this afternoon. ![]() I had a friend in great need that JUST left my house after being here for maybe 8 or 9 hours. I am deciding right now to skip T-Tapp. If I do, this will allow me 3 hours of sleep. I'll post later or on Sunday. I have lots to do after my workshop, and I am going to be exhausted.

Good Morning!
I finally lost .5lb Yipeeeee!!! I think things are starting to move. It's been 6days with nothing so I'm thrilled. I just finished exercising, 30min on the treadmill, 100 sit-ups some lunges and push-ups. Hoops-YUMMY! KFC chicken breast, I craved it all the time when I was pregnant with my first child. I've learned to stay away from it or I'll get sucked into my old habits. Butterfly- Hang in there, I know what you mean, It seems like a vicious cycle with me, I'll just gain weight for no apparent reason, then get upset and start eating off plan to make me feel better (emotional eater)then feel bad that a messed up my plan and continue to start all over again. I'm in control now!!! Heather we CAN do this, stay strong. livvi

Hello Ladies.............down 1/2 pound today to 198 was hoping for more since I was so darn hungry yesterday but I'll take it, I know there will be days I don't lose at all and that's okay, it will all come out in the wash!!!!
Laura~~~Sounds like a busy day, hope you make it through alright. Heather~~~Hang in there, I did BFL, acutally tried it a couple of times and only got to week 10 the first time, had a very bad auto accident, then tried again and only made it to week 10 again. I'd like to do it again but I do that program much better when I'm able to go to the gym. I loved it, I think you'll like it too. I never did his eating plan though, stayed mainly low carb. livvi~~~ WTG on your weight loss after 6 days, it's tough to continue when you aren't seeing any changes, I know. I think I'm losing more inches than weight right now but I won't measure again until next Sunday, that will be 2 weeks from my beginning measurements.Everyone to follow, have a good day, don't know when I will check back in, gonna try and do some "fall" cleaning.

Back from another charter.... I didn't mess up bad this time.
I was gonna go out to Outback Steakhouse... but the people with the band were cooking and said the drivers were welcome to eat... felt almost obligated. anyway... they were having Italian sausages with onions and peppers on sub rolls... I did NOT eat any rolls at all. anyway.. this is what I ate total today... hope the fat from the sausages didn't mess me up too badly. 1 large ground turkey patty 5 oz of steak 2.5 sausage links 1 medium slice of onion .1 cup of green pepper Calories...1029 Fat...66 Carbs...5 Protein...98

OK girls I have got to get with it. My posting this week has been minimal to say the least and I always do so much better when I post. My work schedule has been crazy and I have got to make time to be here and post my menus and check in with all my heros
My main focus this week is going to be water, water, water. I am not getting enough in. It is kinda hard for me at work because 1) we do not have water at work and I have to make sure we have bottled water there 2) we do not have a bathroom at work and I have to go across the lot to another building to use the bathroom.....but I guess that is considered exercise huh? Do any of you know a really good clense that will really get in there and get all the old "crap" out of you? I have been considering doing something drastic to get a really good clense. I feel bloated and need to relaly detoxify my body. I know that there are places you can go to have it done but I have never done it and am not sure of the cost or what it puts your body thru. Do any of you have any information about it? Our big screen tv bit the dust yesterday. It is 10 years old and I have only had to repair it 3 times in the 10 years I have had it. But the last time it took 2 months just to get parts for it so we decided not to repair it......instead we bought a new one.....$2500 I hate going into debt but it ws time and my hubby's entire life away from work evolves around that tv Call me crazy but if that is the worst thing he does then I am ok with it *sigh*

Good morning.... all
so I have been eating on plan and hope to be in the tasty teens tomorrow at my weekly weigh in... today was 119 and I hope that holds or goes lower.. I want to get to 110 so I have a buffer of 4 lbs and never go over 120 again... I am 56 and love it cuz it is the first time thin in all my life since I was 7 or 8.... you are all doing fantastic... consistancy is the key... this is how we eat now... period...learn to love these foods... cuz they are the foods that will make you thin and keep you thin.... I am living proof... Some days I am painfully hungry.... and I just find something else to do rather than think about eating.... I refuse to let me mind wander to "what do I WANT to eat!!" that can lead to all kinds of sinful (for a carbohydrate addict) thoughts.... if it is not time to eat... I am not eating and if it is time to eat I have already planned what it is going to be... meat and veg or fish and veg or non fat yogurt, or eggs...period... I love my food to look like what it is..... and I have to watch sodium as well as portions... else the fat comes back... even from too much protein... My mom is my bestestestest friend tooooo You all are doing so fantasticly... dreams do come true on Stillmans ![]()

Good Sunday Morning........I'm up a half pound, went out to eat and did really well getting just the grilled salmon, but theirs was extremely salty, like mine better, so I'm sure it's just that I'm retaining water. We ate at 3pm and because I thought the salt might be a problem I didn't eat anthing else and boy was I starving at bedtime, but I refused to eat anything, probably would have been more than a half a pound had I ate supper.
Going to my sisters later on and hoping to get back and get in my gazelle exercise, also have salmon to grill and eggs to cook. Everyone have a wonderful day. |

Hello all! Sorry I haven't been around much but doing BFL and doing the Couch to 5K challenge, so I'm keeping busy. Cals are typically about 1000-1200 and carbs about 20-25 (trying to transition from very low carb to the WAY too high, IMO, carbs the two plans recommend, and find a happy balance). So far, so good. I'm loving it, but then again, as someone with no kids it's easy to set aside time every day for me and get my workouts in, so that's a good thing! Day two and I have my meals and everything planned out (spread into 6 tiny meals, which is weird for me to do).
So the "12 Week Makeover" as my friends are calling it is 2 days in, many more days to go! |
