Back away from the candy corn SusieQ.....yuck anyway.......

I am still at mom's and your daughter and Fred are driving me insane, we are all back in the computer room while mom talks to the insurance agent.

I didn't have any problems with cravings and I had hunger the 2nd day, but there are other ladies on here that talked about the 3rd day being their toughest, you'll get through it, just DON'T CHEAT, and drink plenty of regular plain water, that helps me better than other drinks.

I'm home now, mom wanted to know if I wanted to stay longer........I was afraid I wouldn't have any hair left, and it's a good thing I came on home, David has to meet a customer at 4pm.

Good, stay away from the candy or any other cheats...........

Hi Girls,
No change on the scale yet.
Crohnie- I think you're right about the scale not moving one week out of the month. I drink alot of water daily and I've been doing weights so I know I'm retaining some water.
Gapeach23- Congrats on onederland! WOOHOO!!! Keep up the great work.

I've been reading up on the Inches off plan and It looks good too. I may trade off and do 1 week to see what happens. It would definitely keep the plumbing moving along. Anyone have great success on losing BIG lbs on this plan?

Actually when I was losing constantly... the loss always showed up every 30 days or so... so I would see no changes for 3 to 3 .5 weeks then a whoosh...of 5 or 10

I've done the Inches-Off Diet. I lost on it. But I wouldn't say big pounds. Hang on and I'll go back to check on how much I lost in the one week I was on it.

ok.. well it looks like I lost 1.4 pounds on the Inches-Off Diet in one week. I might not have lost a lot of weight but I did lose inches off my arms. They looked a lot smaller. No, I didn't measure. But they looked and felt thinner.

When I went back on QWL I lost 3.6 pounds over night though.

I plan on doing the Inches-Off Diet again the day I hit 200 I'll start. Not to far away. I was 205 this morning.

I've been busy! On my way to do my T-Tapp Tempo Arms right now for day 5. I swear my shoulders and arms are looking better after just 4 days!

Heather~ I completely understand you frustration with the scale.

Michelle~ I am glad you came over to this wonderfully motivating group of ladies! I am a teacher, too. I bring grilled chicken tenders in a zip lock baggie with a touch of water (makes it moist). Then, I reheat in the microwave it in the teacher's lounge or my classroom. Also, I take 4 ounces lean hamburger (already cooked and seasoned) and heat it up with 1 oz of fat free cheese on top. I have both of these sitting ready to grab on my way out the door.

Karen~ and another  And a for Onederland!

Meg~ A few beers, oh well. Now, get back on track!

Jennifer & Susie~ Doing well!!!

in my last post I meant to get across that I averaged 5 to 10 a month and it showed on at the end of the month as I started in August 29... never lost 5 or 10 all at once but 3 was not unusual...

Good morning everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in 2 days, I've been so busy around the house getting it ready for a birthday party for 4 I'm throwing next weekend. There is more than enough to get caught up on around here, I think I need more like a month! In addition to that I've been feeling like crap, with TOM I gained 1 lb (guess that isn't too horrible for complaining) but I was PMSing big time. So it took a couple of days for the scale to go back down but I am happy to report I'm at an all time low--186! I have not seen that number in atleast 16 years!!

What I ate the past 2 days:
Wednesday
Turkey breast (2 slices)
Flounder (5 oz)
1/2 can diet Pepsi Jazz
96 oz water

cals: 165
fat: 2
carbs: 0
protein: 36

Thursday
Turkey breast (1 slice)
Starkist tuna fillets (5 oz)
1 egg, scrambled
80 oz water (I usually drink WAY more than that)

cals: 214
fat: 7
carbs: 3
protein: 37

Today thus far
1 boiled egg chopped w/a little mustard (sounds much worse than it tastes!)

Here is the rest of my post:

Brymic--- I am new to this board too, but not new to Stillman's or K/E (although very similar other than a couple of small differences). Good luck on your journey!

Melly---You're working your butt off Just reminded me I didn't do my workout session for yesterday, so I'm going to make up for that today. I know once I let myself slide, if I don't catch myself it'll all be downhill from there. Did you enjoy your shopping trip with your mom?

Laura---How are you doing?

Idioglossic---That is a great pic of you with your mom! You're so pretty and your mom looks great!

Karen---Congrats for arriving in Onederland! It seemed to take me an eternity to finally get there but once I did it was all so very worth it. An indescribable feeling (took a little while for it to sink in though)!

Doit---It sounds like you're doing great! You'll be in Onederland too before you know it! I stayed stuck at 205 for the longest time (but that was partly my own fault because I'd fall lax for a few days)

Susie---You teach that candy corn who's boss! That is one of my all-time Halloween favorites too but I think I enjoyed the texture of it more than the actual taste of it, so now I'm good with just letting a handful run thru my fingers (however there are other things I can't quite trust myself getting that close to, LOL!

Jennifer---9 lbs down since Monday! That is wonderful! I just love the results I get from this plan (especially when I first tried it several months ago). Lately I've been lucky to average a lb a day but I'm not complaining

Crohnie---Maybe there should be an official "throw the scale across the room club", LOL! You're on Day 74! How much have you lost altogether since you began?

Lois---Good luck on whichever plan you decide on. I'm with Crohnie though, if you're doing QWL and want the quickest results then cut the bread. Otherwise your menu looked really good!

Megan---Reading about how you were treated by the lady taking your measurements for that wedding, wow! That was so unprofessional and uncalled for her to talk to you that way. It just gets at me the liberty some people take for the things they say.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Day 75 ~~~~~~~~~~~165.5

27 LBS LOST. 3 more lbs away from 30 lbs

Yesterday
cup of SF jello
10 shrimp cocktail
1/2 sirloin w/ A-1 sauce
1/2 cup chive cottage cheese

5 cups of Green Tea
120 oz of water

I have never been more determined to lose this weight. When I did Atkins 4 years ago, I got down to 169 and then quit. That was a mistake and I am not goign to make the same one again. I would like to lose below my goal so I have some numbers to play with. I am going to keep this up for a while

Tonight, we are going out to eat. Maybe Japanese. Sashimi and wine

Aww Melly that's so sweet how close you and your mom are! I've become so much closer to my mom throughout the years since becoming an adult. I guess most youngsters don't appreciate their moms until they're older and live through some of the same things they did. I'm reminiscing now! *sighs*

Good Afternoon Ladies,

Just completed my 30 minutes on the Gazelle, was hoping to do a little longer but I completed 45 minutes yesterday plus playing frisbee with my DD yesterday evening and I was a little sore. Think I'll try and do some more this evening.

Well today is day 8 on Stillmans and I'm down 5 1/2 pounds

Total of 12 for 3 weeks but I was starving on that Fat Smash plan and came over here with you girly's!!!!!!

Faith~~~You are rocking it girl, how do you get by on so few calories though? Also thank goodness this time around I haven't been over 200 for long, maybe 3 months, I actually got within 4 pounds of my goal a couple of years ago, so being back in Onederland isn't as wonderful as it use to be. But I'm loving losing again without starving to death.

Melly~~~You are doing great on the exercise, I use to be an exercise freak and I'm trying to get back into it, I love going to the gym the best of all but at this time I can't afford a gym membership, maybe soon, I seem to work out better in a gym.

Crohnie~~~You are almost there..........KUTGW!!!........is 160 your final goal or was that just a mini goal. My 160 I think is a mini goal, if I can get there I may shoot for 140!!!

ConnieBelle and Doit~~~ KUTGW!!!

Indioglossic~~~What a nice pic, y'all look mahvelous........Man I wish I lived in the Virgin Islands, I bet that is one cool place to be all the time, you look great in that pic btw, how much more weight do you want to lose?

Laura~~~I'm definately gonna have to check in to that T-Tapp, I want to see a difference in my arms in a few days.......... Can you buy the DVD in stores or do you have to order them?

Karen---5 1/2 down on Stillman's! I've been in that natural appetite suppression state for quite awhile now, I guess that's how my cals stay so low. I'm truly just not hungry but listening to my body and not going overboard on food is something I still constantly struggle with. Plus, I've been fasting off & on since the end of May so I'm really trying to add solids back in slowly to allow my system to readjust but, as I said, I've been in that state of ketosis for so long I'm just not ever hungry. The first time I did Stillman's & K/E my cals stayed pretty much in the 200-300 calorie range.
