Good Morning Ladies,

I'm dragging today, got a call that my dad was going to the hospital last night and I stayed with him in the ER for 5 hours until he was admitted, then had to get up early this morning for an appt. so I got about 4 1/2 hours sleep, I'm exhausted!!!!!

Another busy day, have a couple of appointments this morning for work and then off to the hospital to check on dad, he isn't doing well at all.

Hoped that I'd be in ONEDERLAND today but weighed in at 200 on the dot, guess I didn't get in nearly the water I needed due to being at the hospital.

My total calories yesterday ended at 990 with 13 carbs, not too bad at all.

I did manage to measure but don't have time to post and may not post (they were awful, may just post total inches lost on Oct. 31st).

I've got to get back in to exercising!!! Use to have a gym membership and loved going to the gym everyday, but right now I can't afford that so I work out at home.

Today's menu looks like this, may vary by the end of the day, I just don't know yet.

B-2 boiled eggs with a little mustard

L-4 ounces of chicken or 4 ounces of ground turkey

D-2 boiled eggs with mustard and 2-3 ounces of chicken

S-more eggs (if needed)

Hope to get in the water today but with all the running around it is hard to find bathrooms so wish me luck.

And for all of you that exercise, how do you exercise on such low calories?? I'm finding that at the moment I have NO energy.

Will check back in when I get a chance later today.

EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday~ The day went well. I did my T-Tapp before church. Then, I walked maybe 5+ miles with a gf of mine early afternoon. It is good to get the walking in while we chatted away!

Karen~ I chicken fingers drenched in ranch or bleu cheese dressings. How is your dad now?

Michele~ Thanks for posting your stats. They are very motivating for the rest of us. You've done well!

Jennifer~ You're going to look hot for your brother's wedding! I use my gas grill for chicken, and my George Foreman grill. You can buy a George for $20 about anywhere. I use mine a lot following Stillman's. It is great for fish, shrimp, hamburgers, steak, chicken.... whatever... without any fat added at all.

Levvi~ Here comes 145!

Faith~ Stillman's will melt the weight off. You may find no need to fast! You've come so darn far!!!

Melly~ We are going to be busy. How was T-Tapp yesterday?

Tammy~ Doit swears by eggs to help with that issue.

Heather~ Going well! Here we go!!!.... shrinking....

Megan~ Great job!!!

DoIt~ No problem! You'll lose those pounds in a few days when you're back on Stillman's. You may find you aren't bigger with the weight gain, since most of it is from the carbs, so measuring is up to you. You have lost some serious inches!

Hi Laura! Hey I ditched the egg thing. Wasn't working at all for me. Not only did I stay at the same weight ALL WEEK, it didn't help with the plumbing. So I decided to go back to my whole grain thing... steel cut oats and whole grain brown rice/bbeans... it worked great on week one so I'll see what starts happening in the next 2 days. I may go back and forth with the egg thing - eating mostly egg whites... so I'll see... this shouldn't be so challenging... it sure wasn't this hard to put in the weight!!

Oh by the way, what is T-Tapps?

Hiya Melly!

Doit! Way to go! Geez I haven't measured myself in so long I dunno what it is... but I am happy that a lot of my pants are too big for me right now... unfortunately I have a lot of pants that are still too SMALL right now as well LOL! But no complaints... It's coming off this time for good!

Have a great day everyone!

Tammy

Hello everyone. I am new here. Not to the boards, but to this WOE. I've done Atkins, and last year about this time, I did the Yogurt fast to get rid of my last 20 pounds, which I did. Then went on my anniversary vacation to Mexico and now in the last year have put those darn 20 pounds back on!!! Which doesn't surprise me, what can I expect, when I wasn't following a plan.
And so that leads me back here. I need to get myself back eating right.

I measured but y'all would truly be traumatized if I posted the #'s. Maybe I should post them as a public service since they will no doubt make all of you feel much better about your own #'s.

Reading your posts has been so motivating! All of the inches and pounds you ladies have taken off is truly amazing!

GApeach -Hope your dad is feeling better.

Hoops -George Foreman - of course! Thanks!

I haven't been hungry, so all I've had so far today is a s/f Red Bull. Not sure if that's OK, but 5 days of very little sleep has caught up with me.

I am not posting my measurements. I will, however, post the changes for the month. It was bad enough that Melly strong armed me into posting my weight!

Just popping in for a moment, will try and post my measurements later, since everyone else is I won't be too shy about it.........

Laura and Jennifer, thanks for asking about dad, he is still in the hospital getting ready to go see him, he has been on hospice care for about 2 months, they gave him 3-6 months to live 2 months ago, hospice is only taking care of him for his COPD problems but he has so many other problems, of course this hospitalization is due to an infection in his leg and he became confused yesterday which is not normal for him, they think the infection has something to do with it, so we had to take him off hospice until he comes home as hospice really prefers home care, and he isn't hospitalized for what hospice took him for.

I'm tired, very tired, I hope that doesn't slow my weight loss.........need to get some real exercise not just the "staying" busy kind of exercise.

Have been trying to force the water in and I'm about up to 96 ounces which is good considering I don't when I'll just have to run out the door.

Well back later with my measurements................

Hi everyone. I am Susan, GApeach23's sister. Do you all mind if I join your challenge?

I just changed my stats to the correct ones. I have been doing very low carb for the past week, but now I am going to try Stillman's QWL. I guess I will have to start fresh tomorrow, because I did have a spoon of peanut butter a little while ago. That is the only snack I have had that has carbs. My carbs for the day will still be pretty low, but since peanut butter isn't on Stillman's, I can't say I officially started today.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

This question was probably lost in my LONG posts, so I'll ask it again......calling all of you that exercise!!!!

If you are eating lower calorie like me (averaging around 990 a day) how do you find the strength to do cardio and weights, I do both but never at this low of a calorie intake and honestly I don't know if I will find the strength, I'm not eating anymore calories because I've totally lost my appetite (yah the good part), but I know I need to exercise, will my energy come back soon? You know feeling (head rush when you stand up sort of thing) but I'm drinking plenty of water so I know I'm hydrated.

I am taking vitamins (well started back on them this morning), so what's up?? I need to get back to exercising!!!!!!!

Jennifer, thanks for the well wishes. But actually it is not my dad. Karen and I have the same mother but different fathers. But I do think he has improved some today. I'm sure she'll check in with a report on him later this evening.

Hello. Does anyone mind if I join this thread? I am trying to do Stillmans QWL, but I'm having a hard time keeping my fat intake down, so my menu looks more like Atkins '72. I would like to lose 80 pounds.

You're all very inspiring!

Susie~

Karen~ Your body will learn to use its fat reserves when you exercise with depleted glycogen stores. Something else you may try is putting a slice or two of lemon into your water bottle. I haven't done this since starting Stillman's QWL, so maybe others can give input whether the lemon would be okay for the plan.

Melly~ So, where are the numbers! Okay, just had to give you a hard time over your numbers since you made me give up mine!

Lois~ I fat going in, but I hate wearing it on my body. So, it is easy... No Added Fats! So, all the fat we consume is the fat we can't see at all. Always buy the leanest cuts, regardless of cost. You can do it.

Melly you are so funny!!! You guys crack me up!

Laura, thanks for the tip - I'm such "the newbie" - didn't even think of doing a search LOL!

Well I must say that the steel cut oatmeal fixed the plumbing in a big way. Finally... geez guess all our bodies are different... and I'm not a bit hungry so I'm hoping to see some movement on the scale tomorrow. fingers crossed!

Everyone have a great night!

Tammy~ I know I've posted the link on here before, although I think someone told me they don't like that. So, a search for T-Tapp will give you the same results. Oh, they have try before you buy downloads, success stories, forums, everything...!!!! If you ever want to order, just get the Basic Workout Plus. You can order more later, but that is the basic workout to begin with.
