Melly...I know exactly how you feel. About your mom I mean. When I saw her sitting on the floor in that resturant with that confused look on her face. I got choked up and all I could think of was... She's not going to make it.

had sashimi for dinner, tuna, seabass, egg etc 2 glasses of cabernet 1 piece of cheese for a snack I really need to up my water. I lose when I do. I will wait till I get home tonight since it causes me to pee every ten minutes |

I am happy today, since I made it into the 160's!
Okay, 169.5, but hey that does qualify and I'm not lying saying I weigh 160-something! My goal, by the way, is maybe 150. So, I am getting close! ![]() Doit~ You are like Frosty the Snowman... melting away! I am SO happy that you've found something working well for you! Yippe!Karen~ How could you forget to mention those incredible losses in you hips and tummy? Oh, I am sitting over here with my jaw dropped! WOW! I am sure your bras are too loose now, with dropping 3 inches there. Did you lose 2 clothing sizes? My sister and I were talking about clothing sizes, and it seems the larger sizes require about 2 inches and the smaller sizes require about 1 inch. About the baby shower.... I'd be tempting, too. I finger nibles of this and that. Why not bring a dish of say meatballs with a toothpick in them. You could eat several of those and still be on plan. You can keep your hand and tummy full by having a lot to drink. A diet soda really fills me up, which is why I rarely have it with a meal. Best to you at the baby shower. I sure didn't make it at Chuckie Cheese for my nephew's party, so who am I to give advice here. ![]() Melly~ Dump anything on us! You sound like you're a rock for a lot of your family, and you're depended on at work, too. Everyone leans on you, and right now you need someone to lean on. Laura~~~ Haven't really seen a drop in sizes since I was seriously squeezing into the ones I already have and I mean squeezing........my size 14 stretch levi's are fitting much better as is my size 16 riders.....bad news is that MOST all of my jeans and clothes are size 12, I fit in those well between 165 and 175 so I still have about 20 pounds to go to fit into my 12's!!!!
And about the baby shower, that's about what I was thinking, drink, drink, drink and eat before I go. I still may fast on Sun., Mon., and Tues, that will get off anything I may go crazy and eat and also will get me through wanting to nibble on chocolate for Halloween!!!! DH just bought Chex Mix for DD, she's sick.......sore throat etc. and she's like her momma when she's sick, she loves the carby comfort food...........HOWEVER...........I LOVE CHEX MIX........I told her she couldn't eat it around me......... ![]()

The result of 2 very large babies that required c-sections At 149 I won't be considered overweight anymore either I will be in the normal range I haven't been there for a long long time.Bye the way I'm not in size 12's yet (the outrageous in October thread) how about you????? hey everyone!
I'm down another pound of fat today- yippie! (not a pound on the scale though, I gained some LBM, so it pretty much evened out) Tomorrow will be 3 wks down and 9 weeks to go on Challenge 1! Today I noticed I've made a lot of strength gains- I can do 80 pounds on my Lat Pulldowns, and just 3 weeks ago I started at 45, so I thought that was pretty good! Interesting thing I also noticed- when I upped my carbs, I started losing like crazy! Insane! Even when I kept calories the same... I'm still really carb sensitive so my overall % of carbs is still low, but it's not induction levels anymore, and I can't even hardly keep up with all the fat flying off! (of course there is so much more left that I'm not worried )Back later for personals- have a good weekend, everyone!

Back from the shower, and I didn't do too badly but I didn't do too well either.
Had a ton of the little "pigs in a blanket", they were the very tiny ones with the little smokies but I think the salt thing may do me in...........gonna drink a ton of water even though it is nearly 6pm and I am not gonna eat anything else.............going to bed without out my supper........... Had to get up and go to my dad's this morning.......he is having seizures now, its so sad to see him going down soooo fast. My brother has been living with him the past 3 years but now fears he is going to have to put him in a nursing home. He is very unsteady on his feet and is starting to fall alot, I had to help him walk everywhere this morning. SJN02~~~ Not sure how much I lost the first week, you could go back to the beginning of the thread and see. I've been on Stillman's a month now and I've lost 11 pounds, but had lost 6 pounds or so just before beginning Stillman's on another plan, so I've lost 17 pounds in 5 weeks. I'm sure I could have lost more or better but I've had a couple of run ins with pecan pie and chex mix........other than that, I've been losing pretty well. I ended my fast at 48 1/2 hours... was trying for 72... but I couldn't stop thinking about a huge raw salad...> which I'm having right now. So, Karen... I guess we'll see where we both are in the morning.. huh? ![]() |

Fast is over! I knew I was breaking it today, yet I decided to break it while I was at KingFaire (a huge carnival at our church) last night. So, I've been eating the Halloween candy and other JUNK!
I gained back 2 pounds, and I am no longer in the 160s. ![]() I was weighed today at the running race, which went very well. I weigh 5 pounds more on my left side than my right side. That seems odd, since I am right-handed. I always measure my arm, thigh, etc. on the left, so maybe the right side is less. She told me that extra weight on the left is going to give me problems and tear it down faster. So, what do I do about that?I will be back on plan tomorrow. I just got home from the grocery store, and I decided to go raw for a short bit. When I can't stand it any longer, I will return to QWL. SJN~ I lost 9.5 pounds in 7 days, and 11 in 8 days. I had just returned from a 3 weeks of vacation and weight gain, and lost 2.5 pounds the two days before starting Stillman's QWL. Rita~ I quit posting over there, because I was so busy and post on this one so much. I am fitting into 12's now, and it feels great! I can wear a 14 a little big on me. I also had two babies that left my tummy less than desirable. My bigger butt and bigger gut make clothes tight in that area. Heather~ You're doing great! Doit~ You're doing well! Laura...That's so cool that you are going raw...
I'm staying raw till Thanksgiving day then I'll be back to raw till Christmas. I do plan on having tossed salad there so I can pig out on that before I eat any cooked foods. But I know I'm gonna want a turkey sandwich later on... maybe before some pie......lmao I think I'm more so into eating healthy than losing the weight, even though I know that eating raw will take the weight off fairly fast. That's why I won't go back to QWL. That's for weight loss, not for a healthy life. Fasting and raw foods are the way to go to be healthy. I have so much less hanging skin this time than when I lost that weight before. I'm in shock. And I'm loving it. Oh BTW... I have lost 2 1/2 inches off my waist since the begining of Oct.

Had a job interview/lunch. Went to a pizza place did the best I could. I ordered steak tips and a small salad and water. It could have been worse. No gain but no loss I just made some low-carb stuffed peppers. I may have to eat one tomorrow. YUMMY. The recipes nets out a 5 carbs a pepper I really miss my grandmothers REAL stuffed peppers with rice. They were to die for Doit, thanks for the link. When I get really really sick (like hospital sick) they put you on an IV and no solid food for two weeks to rest your intestines. I always end up feeling much much better. The fasting does work for Crohns disease. I appreciate you thinking of me Oh Look at the Hottie Laura. I love the pics. You look really great. Thanks for posting them

This is what I had to eat after I broke my fast. Yeah, I know I should have done if easy like... but... It wasn't a long fast only 48 1/2 hours.
a big tossed salad with cauliflower, broccoli, celery, cucumber,lentil sprouts, with olive oil, vinegar and lemmon dressing. 1 apple 2 dates 1 banana Calories...405 Fat...15 Carbs...70 Protein...7 I hope I didn't mess up any weight loss for today. but it tasted great.....![]() Laura...
