Happy Saturday!
![]() It is raining in Las Vegas... a rarity! I the rain. Good thing I didn't have those 12 tons of rock delivered this morning. I went by the rock place last Sunday to order it for today, but they are closed on Sunday. I never made it back during the week. Hey, sometimes it pays off to be busy! ![]() Exercise... I am starting a T-Tapp challenge... Better Booty Blast... for 7 days. I also want to maintain and continue to sculpt my upper body and arms. I need to run/walk as well, since I have that race in just two weeks. So, here is my workout schedule for the next week... Saturday- Tempo Lower Body (Floor) & Tempo Arms Sunday- Tempo Lower Body (Floor) & Walk/Run 30 Monday- Tempo Lower Body (Floor) & Tempo Arms Tuesday- Tempo Lower Body (Floor) & Walk/Run 30 Wednesday- Tempo Lower Body (Floor) & Tempo Arms Thursday- Tempo Lower Body (Floor) & Walk/Run 30 Friday- Tempo Lower Body (Floor) & Tempo Arms Eating... Saturday thru Wednesday- Stillman's QWL Thursday & Friday- Fast (I am doing a total of 7 days) Okay... I have my 7 day plan, and now I just need to do it! ![]() Pam~ Your pictures are fantastic. I remember seeing them now, and I was in just as much amazement and joy for you. Melly~ The important thing is that we didn't let it slip too far. I think an LC day is bad news for me. For me, it is hard to get right back to Stillman's QWL from LC. I hate wasting a week or ten days of bad eating, then another week to take it back off and get back where I was. Faith~ 183 is great!!! ![]() DoIt~ WooHoo on 202! It is VERY possible you reach 200 tomorrow with fasting. The first couple days always produce big drops. Veggies and fruit is fantastic after a fast. Maybe that Inches Off Diet is a good one to follow until the weekend when you go out with hubby. ![]() Chrissy~ This is a wonderful group of ladies on this thread. So, are you starting today? I know posting measurements and weight is very HARD! Heck, just taking the dang things was HARD! ![]()

Here are my changes in measurements after 13 days. I have done my T-Tapp Tempo Arms dvd 9 times, ate bad the first 8 days of the month, then followed Stillman's QWL for the past 5 days. Here are the changes and numbers. Notice my weight is 1.5 pounds more, but ALL of my measurements are either the same or went DOWN!

yes... she did get into a mess after her surgery BECAUSE she gained back almost 100 lbs.... I read her story many times...it is here some where...it was scary and 9K I paid was scary.. and so I remain cheat free....no carby foods for me... they do not just do a straight line... or it would be wicked noticable.. so they do a zig zag...line and match up both sides... mine is curvy zig zag.. but if I gained 100 lbs ... the skin would pull I am sure... and I had no lipo because I was so thin when I had the surgery it was not necessary.. when I gain... I feel it right a way in my ARMS... So I do agree with Doit... if you are not serious about staying at GOAL do not do your arms.... Please find a dr with a fantastic rep.... but the dr that did the above lady could not be blamed for her gaining 100 lbs.... ya know... never tired of people complimenting me... ![]()

But more than anything already said...
I posted those pics for all of you... to get you to not be afraid to get the fat off even if things get ugly... I always stopped at 135 cuz my arms began to get super ugly.... then slide back up.. in no time.. this time I decided early on a thread here I said at goal... I am going to fix my arms and face... said it in like nov... had just started in Aug ... well dreams do come true... and on the very day of my anniversary my arms were fixed... ahhhh do not let the uglies keep you fat.. I had not kept up the plan to fix my arms, in my mind... ... but did make a plan to wear 3/4 length sleeves for the rest of my life... remember Melly that I kept asking for a bathing suit with sleeves... ![]() In aug around the 20th I went to see my dr friend... and he said let us make a plan and do it.... he moved people out of my way... and after knowing me for 35 years he and his team were thrilled to give me arms that could be seen.... and a new face.... of course NO ONE in my little town knew me... but that is another story... hugs |

Thanks for the welcomes!!
DOIT...you are too funny. A sense of humor is what helps us so much, isn't it? If you like to laugh, go to 3FATCHICKS and look up the thread entitled "the funniest things you ever saw while working out". I laughed my head off. HOOPS, thanks for the feedback on the diet soda. And wow, you are seing quite a quick drop in measurements. Way to go. IDIOGLOSSIC, you are so inspiring. And to think, your doc moved people out of your way. I am pleased for you, girl! I am going to have to change the eating plan a bit. I am used to eating many more cals of fat and protein, and I think the plan I wrote up will be too low. I will eat around 12 to 20 grams of protein (naturopath says not to go over 20 as the rest turns into glucose and triggers carb cravings) every few hours, depending on hunger. So far today, I ate 3 times and it is just 1 pmish. So, I think I will try this routine for a while: TIME...FOOD 6.......Egg, whole, fried 2 8........Egg, whole, boiled 2 10.......tuna no name, oil (1 tsp) .5 tin 12.......Egg, whole, boiled 2 2......Beef steak, broiled or baked, lean and fat eaten 3 oz 5.......Chicken, drumstick, with or without bone, fried, no coating, skin eaten 1 med 9.......tuna no name, oil (1 tsp) .5 tin Totals 968cals 60g fat 103g pprotein Any feedback would be welcomed. Also, my workout routine I am looking forward to stepping up. I am taking a year off work, and I am so glad I get to be selfish like this: M..Biceps, abs T..Triceps W..Chest, abs Th..Back F..Legs S..Shoulders, abs

Chrissy~ Since you asked for feedback...
Your foods look good, except for the fat. No oil added to the tuna and trim all visible fat off the steak. The rest is great!!! Stillman's QWL is right at about 0 carb grams and no more than 25 fat grams. He doesn't limit the amount of food, but encourages all to eat 6 times a day to satisfy hunger (not to stuff). Thanks, HOOPS, for the feedback. Oh, goodness. I forgot about the 25 g of fat limit. I think that will be very challenging. I'll have to get geared up for that.
Say, I don't have a copy of the book any longer. I will have to skoot over to a site where I can read on the specifics again. Thanks again. |

I've got both books and I don't see where he says a fat gram limit. He does say to trim off all visible fat. (no chicken skin eaten)
*sighs @ the chicken skin thing* If you eat tuna make it water packed, and drain it... what I do is add mustard and splenda and mix it up. Last edited by doit : 10-14-2006 at 02:31 PM. |

Hey everyone. I had a horrible day at work on Thursday and it carried over into my eating. My husband had a friend over Thursday night who suggested Mexican and I went with them. Let's just say that it caused a 48 hour spiral of bad choices. I won't name the foods I ate to not cause cravings for everyone.
I'm not going to get on the scale tomorrow. I'll wait until Monday to hopefully not see exactly how high up the number jumped with my off plan eating. Everyone sounds like they are doing good. I'll post more tomorrow once I start with my HB egg breakfast. Amber

Exercised an hour late night!
I was trying to talk myself out of it, yet then my whole schedule for the week would be off. So, I just did it. Oh my, that Tempo Lower Body kicked my behind! WOW! WILLPOWER at Chuckie Cheese Pizza for my nephew's birthday party is needed for Sunday! I their pizza. I must be good and stick with plan.... Reminding myself of my goals and how far a few slices of pizza will set me back. Instead of losing, I will surely GAIN! Okay, I can't have that. No pizza. Did I tell you all it is one of my favorite foods? ![]() Amber~ Mexican Food is my favorite! YUMMY!!! Melly~ I could get fired if I played on the internet during work. They can monitor what we're doing at any time. I am not as worries about them seeing I am on the internet, I just wouldn't want any of them to see me posting about my weight! Okay, I miss your posts already, so get back here. ![]() Doit~ It is on page 41 of "Dr Stillman's 14-Day Shape-Up Program" book. He says not to go over 25 grams of fat. It is kind of strange though, because a few pages later he says the range is 20 to 30 grams of fat. So, we could either go with 25 or 30 grams as the maximum fat grams each day. Oh YUM, soup sounds oh so Yummy!Michele~ It does come off fast. I ought to know since I slipped for a week + twice now since August 4. ![]() |

good morning... all
Doit... I visited that site... take a good look at my arms... it is all skin... I weighed 112, and they had trouble to find fat to put in my face creases and lips... took some from my tummy and thigh.. and I have great muscle tone...esp. in my arms.. That skin was never going to shrink..... it hung like drapes.... |

Congrats Food Discussion!!!!! Were you trying to have a baby or was this an unexpected gift? Either way, babies are a gift from God and you are truely blessed. When I see babies I think I would like to have one but then I wake up and realize that grandbabies are all that are in my future.
Pam you are one of the most beautiful women I know.......inside and out. And let's face it, we all want to look good on the outside but it is the inside that truely makes us beautiful and you are breathtaking Still 222.5 this morning......no lose and no gain.......I'll take it ![]()

Ok, gals.
Well, I started to feel really bad last night after the steak. I ended up having 3.5 oz cheese. Not the low fat kind. So, now I have total respect for all you folks who can do this for as long as you have without cheats. I forgot how hard this plan is. I will have to ease myself in, I think. I will get to the 30 grams of fat (oh, and thanks for clarifying 20 to 30 grams from the book) soon. Perhaps I will plan my meals so that I drop down by 5 grams a day until I hit 30. I just don't want to set myself up for a binge and ruin things. That I think will be the plan. I still lost 2 pounds this morning, though. Yay me!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not like on the Eat Fat Get Thin plan, where I gained 3 in as many days. Now I have to change my profile to 141. Ok, here are some high fives. By the way, I want to thank you for all the welcomes. I appreciate the support. It is very nice to be here. doit...I hope the soup worked out. I understand about that feeling though. by the way, did you go to the funny thread I told you about at 3Fatchicks? Totally a knee slapper. You'll love it. Amber...I know it is hard to go to those places. Good job for coming back. It takes courage!! Melly...thanks for the welcome. Hope your day is wonderful. Hoops...Great job with the exercise. I know how good I feel when I've done a good workout. Food discussion...Congrats on your pregnancy!!! idioglossic...sounds like you live in paradise. Can we ALL come visit? Plan for today: every 2 to 3 hours, depending on hunger, up to 20 grams of protein. I will enter the specifics at fitday.com as shown in my signature. My goals for today are to...1, cut fat by at least 5 grams from yesterday's total: 2, do my weights and cardio that I did not do yesterday (I was too pooped). Have a wonderful day, all.
