Good Friday Morning Ladies........

Well glad I didn't have the salad, down .5 a pound, that makes exactly 3 pounds in three days (1.5 pounds, day 1, then 1 pound, day 2, then .5 pound, day 3), wonder if that's how my body is gonna "roll" now? Lose nothing 3 days then lose 3 days, repeat pattern........

I am really thinking about having a small sald for lunch today. I love the red wine vinagrette dressing, and it usually doesn't affect me negatively so wish me luck.

Today is day 14 and I'm down 9 pounds on Stillman's but remember I lost 6 pounds 1 1/2 weeks prior to that, so down 15.5 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks!!!

Susan and I are taking our 2 week measurements on Sunday and then we will move to every month probably. We are also taking pictures.......

Everyone please give Susan a word of encouragement, she's struggling some the past 2 days.

Melly~~~Woohoo on the salad, glad you lost.

Michele~~~Have a wonderful time, you'll be fine.

Heather~~~WTG, I'm glad the scale started moving in the right direction again. I remember when I started BFL (I was much closer to goal then) the scale "stalled" for what seemed like a lifetime for me, I really almost got discouraged, but hung in there and was oh so glad I did.

Yesterday's menu: (I was hungrier yesterday than normal, ate a little more)

B-4 oz. ground turkey

L-3 egg whites, 1.5 yolks, 2 tbsp tuna, mustard

S-SF jello cup

D-6 oz. ground turkey

S-3 egg whites, 1.5 yolks, mustard

Will try and do 35-40 minutes on the Gazelle this morning.

Good morning all.

Struggling is an understatement. I ended up bingeing last night. I had low carb ice cream, some cookies, and some cheese crackers. My binges are the one thing I have had the most problems with. I don't purge, but I do eat enough for three people sometimes. I am mad at myself because this time I was really doing well and then BAM, another binge. Today is another day, though. The scale was kind to me this morning. My weight stayed the same, but I know sometimes it can take two or three days to show up.

I wasn't going to admit this binge on here, but then I decided that is exactly what I needed to do, to keep myself accountable for my actions. If I ignore it, it's like it never happened, and then I am likely to do it again.

I must get back to work now. I'll check back in later for personals.

Glad you were able to come on and admit it seeing as the last time we spoke last night you were hanging on and hadn't cheated yet..........come on sis, you can do this, we can do this!!!!!!!!

Pick yourself up and dust yourself off, on the brighter side, you are 7 years younger than me and lose alot faster than me now........

Remember when we went to Formu-3.........get that state of mind back, we both did well, but you kicked my butt.

In 2 days. The yucky feeling is better. And I am thrilled with the weight loss!!! I have a long way to go, but my friend here at work told me when I lose ten pounds that you can really tell. She thinks it's because I'm short. ha! She's much taller than me, but I think there's a compliment in there somewhere, so I'll take it!!!!! If people notice at 10 pounds that will be motivation to keep going!!!!!

I do feel better.. thanks peach... that's cause I've been drinking apple cider vinegar.

I'm gonna do a cleansing (sp) fast today. Next weekend it the big birthday weekend and I know if I am easting meat and eggs all week then it's gonna be a huge gain when I go off for the weekend. Soooooo... I'm gonna start the Inches-Off Diet on Monday no matter what my weight is. OHHhhh... this fast isn't just water... it's liquids... all kinds. but probably mostly coffee...lol

I'll post again later tonight.

Melly get skinny then worry about your Tummy.... maybe your insurance will pay... or you can finance the operation.... something will work out... I remember when you took your avi pic... ....

Fixing my flag arms and jowls caused me so much joy.... and Keeps me from gaining..

love having my arms out....for the first time in my life...

I should post my before and after pics for those who do not know me...

So you can see what Stillmans did for me....

Idioglossic you are my low carb hero. Many of the things you say inspire me, especially when you talk about your size 2 jeans. I have a pair of size 4 jeans waiting for me in the closet. I can't wait to be able to wear them!!!!!

(even though they're vanity sized, oh well, first things first)

Okay, so I had my salad for lunch....total calories 272, and it was sooo good and tasty but now 2.5 hours later I am soooo hungry.........guess it's back to lean meat and eggs.

had a woosh and I'm down to 192! One pound less than where I was when the "sudden, for no one reason" bloat came up, so I'll take it! That makes it a total of 78 down!

Hi Hotties,

I'm in a pretty good mood today, I actually worked out when I came home today from work. (I haven't done that in a long time, I'm usually too tired or stressed about something that happened at work) So..... That's a big step for me. NO Cheats on DAY 2.
I just love reading about everyones UPS & DOWNS, it makes me feel like I'm not alone with the eating issues.
Susan I can totally relate to you, I'm the same way with binging, the stress thing does me and I fold so easily when there is a temptation. I typically have goodies around for the kids and DH, the more healthy treats and don't eat them, but when things get bad I eat too much. I hear what Melly's saying, WHY have them around then? Well, for me, It lets me be in "Control" ( I guess I have some Control Issues too!)... to say I SHOULDN'T eat that.... instead of saying NO you CAN'T eat that. It's the real life and I have to deal with this same thing at work everyday, there's always goodies to eat, so I have to learn when I can and can't eat treats and PORTION CONTROL. Thanks again everyone for the great support!!!

I posted last night, but I don't see it on here. I dislike when that happens.

Anyhow, I am down 7 pounds in 4 days after restarting! I just gain and lose it so fast initially. The hard part is hanging in there to continue the slower loss.

Susan~ I admire how you got right back on plan after the binge. That, to me, is the toughest thing.

Karen~ Nine pounds is awesome! It is almost a clothing size!

Theresa~ Well, I am taller, so the pounds hide easier than if I were shorter. Also, they are less noticeable when I lose than someone shorter. Too bad we couldn't have the best of both worlds!

Doit~ Whose birthday next weekend? My nephew's party is Sunday, and I am going to have to use HUGE restraint at Chuckee Cheese Pizza. I that place, and they serve nothing for me to eat.

Pam~ I'd love to see pictures!!!!

Melly~ I was up, too. I gained 9.5 pounds in 9 days off plan, then got back on board with Stillman's QWL to lose 7 pounds in 4 days. I need to stay on plan through October 28!

I wasn't going to be a scale nut this month, but I can't help weighing myself. I think I do better when I weigh myself everyday! I know I am doing the T-Tapp, which causes me to gain muscle weight and burn body fat. So, maybe the inches are better than the pounds.

I tried on a bunch of pants tonight to get crap out of my closet. I haven't worns pants forever, and I really don't care for them much. I am close to getting into 2 black pairs and a pair of jeans, which are all size 12. A couple of weeks, and I shouldn't have a problem!

So I have now discovered that I have muscles in my biceps that are actually kind of manly and big looking lol Want to know how I know? (well besides the fact that the constant throbbing in my arms reminds me about every 2 seconds )- I can see them! Ha! Of course, they're still "fat chick arms" and I've got flappies underneath that could knock someone out if I wave too hard, BUT I can see the outline of a Tricep and my Bicep looks kinda swollen and is sticking out from the fat (kinda pulling away from the fat, so there's a line, and THAT's gross, but one thing at a time! lol )

Oh Madonna look out! There's gonna be some competition soon

on Day 6 in a row of workouts and loving it. Tomorrow is my "rest day", and I already don't like the thought of taking a day off (how WEIRD is that?) but I know I need to. Today is also supposed to be my "free food day" (you get 6 days on plan, 1 off) and to be honest, I don't really want to take it. Screw up all my hard work this past week? No thanks. I think my big treat will be a slice of LC bread, maybe. Then again, maybe not.

we can do it ladies! Let's all make this a great weekend!

I am a recovering Carbohydrate Addict... who abused my body from early childhood with pasta.... here are some pics I think you all might like to see.







I call this one "wrinkle city"

Aug 20, 2005... 9 days before my 1 year anniversary of Stillmans and Atkins..

on the 29 of August '05 my arms were done... and on the 30th my lower face... that was my reward and anniversary present and incentive never to regain...

my surgery was priceless... and gave me a new life... for once in my adult life my arms could be in sleeveless tops... imagine.. and all that was accomplished in 1 short year..... what took me so long...

still at 56 I am feeling young, attractive, confidant and learning to enjoy getting dressed...

Stillmans and this site and all of the dear people here were my inspiration for my carbohydrate addiction recovery....

Pam you look amazing. I still have your before and after surgery pics.....you look so amazing. So I guess you can relate when I say I want my tummy done. If I had my tummy done I would be 3 or 4 sizes smaller *sigh*

OK Laura I guess it is confession time......I was up too.....233 to be exact!!! But as of this morning I am 222.5!!! Still not getting excited until I am back to siggy weight. It is amazing to me how fast it comes on when you eat even the slightest little thing you should not. I have always gone to the gym but eating got off track for a few days and BAMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!! So 3 more lbs and I am back
