Question on Stillman's / M/e

If you find you do not experience weight loss on Stillman's or meat/egg, (and follow the program strict) what would be the reason? I noticed some people on the boards say they do not experience weight loss on Atkins, could it be your metabolism?
Some people don't lose on Atkins, but do well with Scarsdale when they add fruit and low carb bread. Just wondering what would be the reason?

What does your menu look like?

I would say too many calories, too much protein. Have you done Induction?

Diana , thanks for responding, this was just a question in general,
I currently follow my own low carb plan, and lurk on this site, it is very supportive. Was just wondering why some plans work for some and not others.

Everyone's different. Kind of like WW works well for some and Atkins others. Some lose well with FATS over 70% others have to be at 50%

We all learn to tweak to get things working for our bodies.

If someone is "carbed up" and does Stillman, it will still take a few days for their body to process the sugar and get rid of the glycogen in their liver. Then weight loss, usually as a water "whoosh" of several pounds.

Some people "doctor" Stillman's, modifying it to what they want instead of what it is. This can include sweet recipes so they overeat protein or large amounts of FF cheese (as in fake cheesecakes). This circumvents the intent and success of Stillman's.

If a person doesn't not experience weight loss on Stillman's it is simply because they are not following it as it was written.

Dr.Stillman really advocates LOW-FAT/LOW-CARBS/LOW CALORIES: you may eat until just full but not ever stuffed.

For one instance: in the rules posted on some boards they say Cocktail sauce and ketchup are allowed BUT it doesn't say ONLY 1 tsp per day like the book does.
