Faster weight loss: Stillman or Atkins??

Okay, I admit it: I am an impatient person. I want it all, and I want it right now, LOL!!

If you've had experience with one or both of these programs, which one did you lose the fastest on??

I'm thinking I may try Stillman's for a few weeks, but I'm scared to eat the cottage cheese as I have had none on Atkins!!

Any advice/experiences are welcome!!

Thanks!

Stillman was the fastest weightloss that I have ever experienced. I didn't eat the FF cottage cheese. If I really wanted a treat I might have .25 cup of the cottage cheese but only once a week. I am not a fan of FF things. The ketosis is really strong so you won't be hungry just bored LOL. Best of luck

Stephanie,

I honestly have no idea how the actual numbers. I try to not be a slave to the scale. I have been doing LC of some fashion for about five years. I started in a tight juniors 12 and now wear a 6 (on a good day LOL). The longest stint with Stillman I have done was three weeks. I was much smaller than I am now. Probally closer to a 4. Just make sure that you add in veggies slowly. There is a fantastic Stillman group on the challenge board. Tons of info and support. Stillman is also great to get you into ketosis if you aren't right now.

I do a few days of Stillman's when I need to break a stall or I eat too much legal food over the weekend and reach Monday up a couple due to water retention. I've always lost a pound a day on Stills. IMO it's unhealthy to do very long- very nutient poor. I take vitamins and EXTRA fiber religiously on Stills because it has NO fiber.
Can't imagine doing it much longer than a few days because it's so BORING !!
I do know someone who gained on Stills and she was an honest person and a carb nazi at times so YMMV.....

no one is saying this so I will.

Stillmans may help you loose faster, but if you do not change the habits that casued you to gain weight, where are you going to be in 6 months?

Stillman's is not a long term WOE, its a short term stall buster.

Want to loose more, faster? Exercise harder and longer.
