Lean protein:
Chicken - baked, broiled, poached, roasted, grilled (no skin, no fat in cooking) Beef - lean cuts only, cut off edge fat, cooked as above Fish - ditto (no mayo on tuna) Eggs - boiled, poached, fried (use nonstick spray, no butter) Cheese - skim or lowfat (string cheese is ideal, but 1-2 per day) Beverages - any no/low cal (diet soda, Crystal Light, 0 carb water) Condiments - SMALL amounts of ketchup, mustard, soy No veggies, no added fats, no mayo. Best results will be without the new "desserts" some make with FF cream cheese. The official list will be on the Stillman's thread in the Challenge forum. ![]() |

Legal Stillman's Recipes
Legal Stillmans Recipes (Some recipes on this site are not Stillman legal, but it gives you some ideas)
This website helped me when I did Stillmans. Also, low or no fat cottage cheese is allowed (and was a staple food for me). I didn't eat any other cheese. Cottage cheese is versitile. If melted slowly in a sauce pan (fast melt will seperate the cheese = water & goo), you can mix an egg with it to obtain somewhat of a custard (whisk lots!)-add salt and pepper (or other spice) and mix with cubed boiled chicken. Excellent mock chicken-a-la king. Or, Davinci's for a sweet custard. All legal based on all the stillman's rules I've read. Of course Davincis didn't exist when book was written, I thought it to be no more than concentrated diet soda, which is allowed. I used it sparingly. Huni (Stillmans Challenge Board) is the one to talk to on Stillmans, she has been VERY successful and has done Stillmans for most of the time LCing. And such a good cheer leader ![]()

At the top of "Hunni"'s post in the Stillman's challenge group..she posts the links to the stillman's food list and recipes.
Here is a typical day of stillman's when I do it. Hope it gives you a little better view ![]() B: 1-2 eggs..scrambled with Pam or soft boiled S: hard boiled egg L 4-6 oz chicken breast or very lean steak D: same First few days I usually have some cottage cheese for a snack if working. I'm on my feel for the full 8 hours..and tend to be hungry more often for the first 1-2 days. After that..my appitite goes way down..and eating every 4-6 hours tends to keep my blood sugar up and keep my energy level going.
