Sure thing.
Stillman is lowcarb lowfat. This is a severe form of ketogenic diet. It is not easily sustainable for the longterm. It may be useful in breaking plateaus and in those too impatient to allow their bodies to take the fat off gradually at its own pace. The Stilman Eating plan is comprised of lean meats, eggs, lowfat cheeses and lots and lots of water. Stillman was written before the lowfat craze so there are products that are usable now that were not consumable at the time the plan was written. A lot of people eat nonfat yogurts, lowfat cheese, sf syrup and still experience tremendous loss. Stillman works. It works well. It is cheap, it is easy and it is addictive. The first time I did it, I did from May 14- June 1st and went from 205 to 188 and an 18 to a 12-14. Unfortunatey I am a true sugar addict so it wasn't long before I had talked myself into a cheat and went off plan. Stillman is not for everyone. If you have trouble staying on Atkins, Stillman will be hell. There are also no veggies on Stillman, but others have added 1 or 2 small salads a day and still lost. THere is a stillman challenge on the challenge board. I believe that Nady has done stillman and Lisa Rae is an old pro. The cola chicken that I make is a Stillman Recipe. If you're planning to do it, let me know. I've been contemplating it and could use some motivation. ![]() Here is a link to the list of foods, and you can find this info over on the challenge board as well. Stillman Link |

Thanks a bunch Moke!
I'll have to let you know about doing it - - I need to do something, but I want to wait until after my doctor's appt. tomorrow. Oh, and I'm a total sugar junkie too - - it's my "drug " of choice. ![]() |

Way too much time on my hands!

Speaking of being a sugar junkie did you see that woman on Dr Phil today who eats about 5# of plain sugar a week? Straight from the sack. Her health hasn't been affected yet and she's only slightly overweight!
