Stillman's or Fat Fast or something else?

I've been reading some of the posts about getting into Ketosis when you have been knocked out or not losing weight anymore. What is better --- Stillman's or Fat Fast?
How long do you usually stay on either and does it really work.
Also I did get on the website for Stillman's www.lowcarb.org/stillman.html and it doesn't say anything about being able to eat pork- like sausage or bacon. Does anyone know if you can have pork?

I know they say Pork is the "other white meat" but i think its still fatty. and bacon is like all fat. The idea behind stillmans is very low fat eating.

I stayed on stillmans for one day and it worked. ! it broke a stall.

Personally, I'd do Stillmans first. The fat fast is supposed to be a last resort if you can't get into ketosis any other way.

That Stillmans link, I believe, says "if it's not on this list, it's not on the diet". So if you're a purist, no sausage or bacon. Myself, I do more of a meat fast to get into ketosis quick. Stillmans is low-cal, low-carb. I just do extreme low-carb and don't worry much about the fat for that short time.

If you don't have the atkins book..PLEASE get one!

The fat fast is ONLY used for those who can't get lose on strict induction. It is not ment to be used when you cheat..or as a stall breaker. If you use this for any othe reason then for those very very resistant..it can be dangerous!

Stillman's, although not a long-term woe IMHO, can get you back on track fast. most get back into ketosis by day 2..however..why not just re-induct. Most get into ketpsis with just strict induction in 3-4 days..and it's way way easier then the restrictions of Stillman's.
