Those who started on Stillmans on Monday!

How is everyone doing so far???

Any pounds lost??

Any ill effects?

Are you finding it hard to stay on this??

Is everyone drinking their water?

How much longer till you go back to what you were doing before?

How many calories is everyone consuming?

Had anyone felt drained and tired? or energized?

So many questions I know!

Okay I started on Fri. but here goes:

I am doing great, I love it. I have lost 5.5lbs. No ill effects except headaches in the evening and I attribute that to caffeine withdrawal. I am not finding it hard and will probably stay on it quite some time cause I have 66 lbs. to goal and will probably go lower once I get there. I am a naturally thirsty person, I drink over 200 oz of water a day. I actually am feeling pretty energized compared to what I used to be. My calories are usually in the 600-800 mark.

How are you doing with it??

Moe

Moe,

I'm doing great! I've lost 3lbs since Sunday, I started on Monday.

No ill effects at all.

Ketosis has kept me from being hungry so the low calorie intake is not bothering me at all.

I am going to go back to strict Atkins tomorrow but will switch back to this in two or three weeks for three days. IF I'm not losing on Atkins.

I have this notion in my mind that since I'm working out at the gym every day I should not stay on this long term cause the carbs are important for some reason...no real reasons why I believe this...just something ingrained I guess.

I'm going to keep my carbs below 10g's though. Anything over that i'm likely to be thrown out of ketosis....I don't wanna take any chances.

I'm getting more then 150oz of water a day so I'm good there.

Now if the CLA would work and make the fat on my tummy go away faster I'd be a happy camper!!!

I started a personal 2-week Stillman challenge on Monday. Stillman foods only and 3x week cardio.

Weight:
Mon 206
Wed 203

3 lbs in 3 days--I can live with that. Next stop: Onederland!

If CLA works ...let me know I know I've heard others say it does but I guess I'm still skeptical. Congrats on doing so well...I would like to know what happens when you go back to Atkins so I'll know.

Thanks
Moe

Moe, I have been on the CLA since the second week I started on Atkins back in May.

I don't know that it really works or not but my trainer is the one who said I should take it. He says it helps when your exercising. So...along with exercise I think CLA makes a difference.

I dont' know..I think that every inch and every pound has to be worked for in one way or another...If CLA alone would take the inches off I don't think we'd need the diet and exercise...rigth?

Even with my way of thinging...I still take it every day. Go figure...lol...

I started Stillmans on Monday. I have lost 3 lbs as of today. I don't find it hard to do. I think that I am going back to strict Atkins after Friday. I drink about 200 ounces of water a day. I also take the CLA and I think that it is working wonders.

Congrats to everyone and their weight loss.

I started Monday, and today I am the same as Monday. Guess I am doing a better job with Atkins and keeping carbs down than I thought. I will just keep doing the atkins and accept that my body is at a stall for one reason or another, and it will eventually pass!

I find the food boring as all get out too...BUT!!! it's only for 3 days.

I can stand just about anything for three days...specially if it's going to break this 6 week stall I've been in.

My menu...bland and boring...steak cooked in my toaster oven with salt, pepper, seasoned tenderizer.

boilded eggs - just for breakfast I have two and that is more then enough for me!!!

I cooked chicken in the toaster oven and put the regular seasonings on it...tasty but dry and pretty boring.

I am eating half a cup of cottage cheese at breakfast and lunch. I like the stuff and had stopped having it on Atkins...(shouldnt' have had it...but didn't know better at first).

I'm very glad I've done this. I am down 3 lbs finally and I know that I CAN do anything I put my mind to.

fatbottomgirl don't give up on it.

From everything I have read you should weigh once a week. Don't decide it didn't work until you weigh next Monday.

Just because i've shown weightloss now, doesn't mean you won't next week.

Weighing every day is bad...*slapping wrist*(my own). But if i didn't show any weightloss yet...I'd still stick it out and hope for the best.

I guess it's just my optimistic nature.

The stall will be broken...and the scale will go down...it's just a matter of being patient.

(Which i have so little of these days.)

I will give it a couple more days (Friday) on stillmans. If no loss, I will just keep up the LC'ing! I am pretty happy where I am right now, and the extra 15 I have to lose will be gravy. If anyone is looking for something different with stillmans, I just had a smoked Turkey leg for lunch that was out of this world. Got it already cooked at my Hen House.

Thanks warmsummerbreeze.

Yes the food can be boring. I can deal with it for 2 weeks, but I have to say I was praying for some weight loss this morning so I'd be motivated to continue.

I'm doing it as a jump (re)start to Atkins. I'm doing it for two weeks because I reallyreallyreallyreallyreally want to get below 200 and to go down at least one more clothing size.

I am doing 20 min cardio 3 days per week and I weigh at the gym after my workout.

I lurk a lot but don't usually post 'cause I'm at work and I just can't take the time to compose & reply to messages, but I was so happy that there were others who started Stillmans on Monday that I had to say something.

Keep it up everyone!

I started Stillmans monday afternoon. The scale has been bouncing the same 2 pounds back and forth pretty much the whole month so I figured I needed to do something. The 140's are so close and I don't want to wait till next month to see it. Also next week I'm planning a trip to see my DH who works on the road, haven't see each other in almost a month. So I feel a bit caught up in the scale number game.

Well after the first 24 hours I finally move a pound down on the scale. As of today I'm the same but not fluctuating up and down.

Found out I love the egg drop soup! I'll probably be tired of it after I have it everyday for a while. Otherwise I plan on mixing the meats up so I don't get too bored. I've noticed I still get hungry, but it doesn't take much to fill me up.

How's everyone doing for energy eating this way? I've been okay so far. I have a very hectic week so I don't want to feel too worn down. (My main worry)

Jumping in here...Started Stillman's on Wednesday to break a three week Atkins stall. I lost 2 pounds the first day (all water I think) and won't weigh again until Monday. BORING is the operative word here! I did however make the cola chicken and it was very yummy!
