You can pretend it's a sundae! That would make a yummy breakfast, too.

Staying OP buried in my ft of snow here!
Can we have Fat Free half and half? I want to experient with a recipe. I made a batch of zuppa tuscano soup at Christmas and everyone loved it. Im on a huge kick with kale right now, and would like to try to make this somehow southbeach friendly. I was thinking of substituting cauliflower for the potatoes, and maybe FF half and half for the heavy cream? Im thinking skim milk just would not work with this...lol.
I stepped on the scale and was down 3 lbs. I know its water weight, but its keeping me on track. So far its been a good week! Planning ahead and having stuff prepared and on hand is definately key!

Buckhuntress ff 1/2&1/2 would be ok if u want it thicker more like the heavy cream put it in a pan on low heat just enough to see a small amount of steam coming of it and reduce it to desired thickness. actually tht may may not work

I wouldn't use ff half & half under any circumstances. Look at the ingredients. FF half is an oxymoron!

I use either whole milk or suck it up and use real 1/2 & 1/2. Skim for sure won't work right.

for the 3 lbs.

You didn't put tuna in your scrambled eggs! Say it isn't so.

I am going to jump right in here . I am not new tool carb , but after a hysterectomy my body does not respond the same . I had an appointment with my endo. While he said my hormones are pretty average the fat from low carb was my problem . He is a hormone specialist also. He said I should try SB, The Mediterranean Diet .. Or Medifast , I refuse to lay that a month ! So , here I am ! While I haven't read all this thread . I am getting ready to . I have watch Kalyn's recipes for a long time . So any help and advice is greatly appreciated .

I wonder why he thinks fat is the problem? Wow, that is quite a jump from SB or Mediterranean to Medifast as alternatives. I guess if you are going to try SB, the thing to do is follow the plan by the book for the first two weeks and see how it goes. We are always ready to help if you have questions. Good luck!
