SB Gluten Solution Book out next week!
Hola everyone!
Just found out the release date for the SB Gluten Solution is due to come out April 2 and a cookbook out in November....I am very excited about this and cant wait to see how Dr. A addresses this issue. Is anyone else already doing the Beach with fewer/no grains? Thanks! Wendy |

In a nutshell, he says that a lot of people who cut grains during phase 1 discover that they feel much better and if you find that you are gluten intolerant when you start adding back wheat, then don't eat that.
Many of us eat few grains. |

makes perfect sense Rose...oh how I love your ability to put it in black and white
![]() It has been through much trial and error that I have come to realize that I am pretty sensative to wheat. Its been a challenge but now I think I am getting a little better at it. I am packing the girls lunches with the same foods I eat and I am so thankful their little immune systems are up (I am sure due to being diligent with their diet as well) and we have avoided most illnesses this winter. I was just hoping for maybe some new recipes and/or ideas ![]()

If you Google gluten free south beach recipes you'll get quite a few. Let us know how you like some of them.

While grains don't make me feel ill or anything, I do limit them. I find they increase my cravings for other carbs and slow my weight loss down. I would say I eat grains about once or twice a week.
I do however eat lots of other higher carb, higher fiber foods like beans, winter squashes, and sweet potatoes. Love'em! |

Rose, just realized that Kaylins kitchen has a gluten free section so I do plan to check that out as well.
Wiz, I agree there are lots of great options..beans and sweet potates are way better craving wise than any pasta or bread. I am excited either way though because since the family is on board its a lot easier. Plus today I get my elliptcal and plan to start my couch to 5k on there! Yall have a great day! |
