New Here, questions, what's the best.....
So, I have been on WW for the last 6 weeks and actually gained weight, following the program to a T. I think the free fruit is too much. Other than fruit I don't eat other carbs, no bread, no pasta or rice, but I eat LOTS of fruit.
I need help choosing a low carb plan. I have the medi plan, heard of south beach and sugar busters....are all low carb plans the same? Anyway, for now, I'm gonna go with south beach until I do more research. Gotta start somewhere and look like a great group here. |

All programs are NOT the same. I suggest you get a copy of the South Beach book, so you will know the program, then come here and ask questions. Remember, no fruit for the first two weeks.

All the forums here have some great stickies to read through... IMO picking one which sounds like something you could really eat for life and try it out! Fruit can be very troublesome and I did try WW briefly and had the same issues of gaining and just being hungry all the time (not to mention, I found it to be a lot more measuring, not that you won't on SB but it's much more manageable)

fruit can be dangerous! After following Sb for so long there are just some fruits I consider extreme treats...like pineapple and bananas. And grew to love strawberries and blueberries as dessert
