South Beach Diet Wake Up Call Book

anyone read this? Other than the chapter on Gluten, is there a lot of good new information? What are the pros/cons of this book? Is it new information? Would this make a good Christmas gift?

Thanks!

I have not seen it! Sorry....I have the original book and the Super-Charged, so haven't had any interest in a new version.

I have the Wake Up Call book, and I love it.

Warning though. This is NOT the book to buy if you are not thoroughly familiar with the South Beach plan. It's a nice compliment to the South Beach diet with tips for staying on plan, updates on nutritional information, and even nice recipes in the back.

I would highly recommend South Beach Supercharged, or even the first book South Beach Diet to get plan information. Supercharged has updated plan info, but I love both books.

I agree...this book is a nice supplement but only if you have another that lays out the plan. I have totally enjoyed this book, and in fact I am having the Better Than Beef Burgundy stew for dinner tonight! I love the recipes and the practical applications! DH found the chapter on sleep fascinating too!

A nice addition and I am glad I got it!
