The cereal is Cinnamon Harvest, Organic Whole Wheat biscuits Baked with Cinnamon and natural sweetness.

And Shredded wheat is ok for SB.And that is what this is. It is spoon sized biscuits and 28 biscuits is a serving I did count them out
.
Thanks for looking at the menus. I will stop posting them now that I know they are okay.I actaully enjoy eating this way. I always felt I had to eat lunch even if I wasn't hungry, and to me that didn't make sense

The natural sweetness is SUGAR. Shredded wheat (Nabisco) is fine; Kashi is not. But if you are happy and still losing, go for it. When you start to not lose, then we'll look at the fine points.

I looked at it and it is evaporated cane juice(SUGAR)
I don't eat it that often. I do like regualr Shredded wheat. I could just add a bit of cinnamon to it. Thanks for pointing this out. I had more this morning instead of WH toast

Yeah, like we're not supposed to notice that evaporated cane juice is sugar, right? I got caught by canned red beans that I had been buying for years and all of a sudden the label changed and they had started adding sugar. I didn't catch it until I tasted my red bean salad and it tasted sweet. Looked at the label and sure enough--sugar. Now I have to cook them from scratch and I don't like the texture so much.

I have a couple more questions for you

Why is it if a recipe has ALL ingredients that are allowed in PH2 why is it we can't have it?
I was looking at some of my SB recipes and they had PH 3 by them and ALL the ingredients were allowed on PH2 ?

Also what about Pork N Beans? My guess is no.But wanted to ask for certain.

First question. I don't know, I'd need to look at the recipe. What are you looking at?

Second question. Pork and beans have a lot of sweetener added. I haven't had them for years so I'm not sure what they are using these days. Maybe you could make your own version.

I was looking at some of the deserts as we are having some company next week.

Here are the ingredients to one of them.....

whole grain pastry flour
baking powder
baking soda
nutmeg
cinnamon
allspice
salt
sugar substitute
eggs
unsweetened applesauce
canola oil.

The other....
Whole grain pastry flour
baking soda
baking powder
eggs
sugar subs.
RFbuttermilk
extra virgin olive oil
lemon extract
lemon zest.

They both say PH3Why???

The best explanation is that Phase 3 is for maintaining, after you get where you are going. You couldn't expect to eat these things as part of your everyday menus. You eat phase 3 foods now and then, but not in weight loss mode.

Also, people tend to overdo these foods eating several pieces instead of one. HOWEVER, there is nothing wrong with the ingredients. The finished product will be higher in calories than everyday foods, but still if you are having company and you limit yourself to one serving, you will be fine. Enjoy your company.
