Good morning!

More snow here. Enough already.

In fact, I don't really mind snow, but it hampers my outside running. So today's exercise was 30 mins on my exercise bike followed by an hour of shoveling.

I've made a conscious decision to get back into the habit of weighing every day. I was most successful in losing and maintaining my weight on SB when I weighed every day. Some people cannot deal with the literal ups and downs of a daily weigh-in, and for them - once a week or month is fine. But for me, I really need the daily reinforcement of where things stand.

Today's planned menu:

B: Slice of crustless spinach quiche with red pepper, sun-dried tomates, artichokes and RF cheese
S: yogurt
L: Leftover turkey over spring mix with tomato and EVOO/red wine vinegar. NSA fudgsicle
S: fresh mozz and roasted red pepper
D: Pork chops pizziola and a salad. either diet hot chocolate or another fudgsicle

HealthyBelle - good luck to you and your husband!!

Happy Birthday Elaine!!! Hope you had an awesome day.

Berta, it took me a while to appreciate the vanilla flavored yogurt, but now I love it.

Have a great day folks!!

Wiz we are in the same boat of 10lbs creeping back on after successfully maintaining for a while. Im on my second week of phase 1. Finally have the motivation and determination to get my jeans back on

We are SNOWED IN here in the North east....I've got about 2 feet and counting at the moment. Stuck inside but catching up on some much needed chores and organizing.

Menu today:

B broccoli crustless quiche with V8 juice (made a new one for the rest of the week today with spinach, mushrooms, onions, and rf colby jack cheese...smells good!)

S yogurt with nuts (Im addicted!)

L 4 cups salad with chicken and rf blue cheese dressing

S dont know

D sirloin tip and green beans

Hello to everyone else! Hope you are having a great day!

Can anyone recommend a brand of OP pasta sauce? You know...something quick and easy that comes in a jar.
Also....what brand of peanut butter are people getting that is OP?
Thanks!

My only choice for pnut butter is Smuckers--it's just peanuts and salt. If you live in a real town, you will have more choices. Just look for something with just peanuts or peanuts and salt. Don't be fooled by "natural" on the label. As for sauce, we make our own and freeze some, so I'm no help.

Good morning!!

Geez, I don't know when I'll get back outside to run again. Between the snow and really cold temps, ugh. So I went down to the basement and on my exercise bike again today. (I do have a treadmill, but I've had issues using it lately. We'll see.)

Buckhuntress, If I don't have home-made sauce, I just use a can of diced (or petite diced) tomatoes and doctor them up. In fact, for last night's dinner, I made pork chops "pizziola" with a can of (drained) diced tomatoes, oregano, fresh basil, fresh garlic, and a splash of balsamic vinegar. Then topped with mozz cheese at the end. Just make sure you find tomatoes with nothing added to them.

Today's planned menu:

B: crustless spinach quiche
S: yogurt
L: salad and a leftover pork chop, NSA fudgsicle
S: hummus and celery
D: Turky Meatloaf Provencale and yellow/green squash sauted with onion, and probably a NSA fudgiscle

Gotta run, busy work day ahead!! later gang.

Crazy morning here....getting geared up for a huge customer session next week in Atlanta. And unfortunately, things are not going as smoothly as I could hope. Arrrgh.

So my focus is not on SB and making interesting meals. Today will be about eating for sustenance and just staying OP! With that being said, leftover pork chop/veggies for breakfast, probably more leftovers over salad for lunch, and yes, I have every intention of going out for a light dinner tonight and having a glass of wine. I will have deserved it!! Believe me.

Gotta run!! Hope everyone has an awesome weekend. Stay warm and OP!!

Awwwww....HERE I am Berta!!!
What a sweet thing to say.
Cindy went all the way over to FB land to find me... Seems I just end up there these days and talk there! Great to see you too and I will try and remember to pop in more often. Since you all "saw" me last, I have lost another 14 lbs and am working very hard on my final goal. I will do it in 2011!
I had just kind of been staying steady, not gaining, losing a tad here and there and then 12/1 came, the holidays scared the HE## outta me and I just thought I better start now! I LOVE the holidays, but I tend to struggle and then gain a few and I did NOT want that to happen, so I stayed very tight on my WOE with a few holiday bites here and there, but no major damage!!

Looks like you all are well...Rose, love your looking out to the water from the deck! Is that you with those beautiful legs?
Berta, you keep going, looks like you are well into PH 2 now and doing great! Cindy, I will pop over to the vet's too...Thanks for thinking of me and hi to everyone else!
Let's make 2011 SB's be THE year!

Hi Berta--

Well-- the SF pudding is the prepackaged one-- more processed-- I try not to eat those kinds of foods---- it almost feels like cheating to me.. weird- I know! It seems that the ricotta cremes would be more filling, nutritious-- but I just like these for a change.

Hey gang,

Quick check-in! Ran 5 miles in less-than-optimal conditions this morning. (18 degrees with far too much snow, ice and sand around.) And I am down 2 lbs since Tuesday morning. I'll take it!!

Hope everyone has a great SB weekend!!

spoonful of peanut butter, yogurt

leftover sirloin on salad with rf blue cheese dressing

nuts

cobb salad

just got back from grocery shopping...bought some awesome strawberries, blueberries, and high fiber flat breads and english muffins...can't wait for phase 2:blush:
