Need Breakfast Help - I HATE eggs!

I'm starting phase 1 today and I just CAN'T eat eggs! Please help with some breakfast alternatives.

Another question - does cheese count toward the 2-3 cups of dairy allowed per day?

Thanks so much for the help!

Hmmm - that's a tough one, but my recommendation is cottage cheese. You can also eat leftovers from dinner that are phase 1 appropriate - chili is always yummy the next day.

Good luck, and come hang with us on the weekly check-in thread!!

You don't have to eat eggs. Eat anything you like. Leftovers from dinner, a piece of steak, anything. Lots of us eat cottage cheese and veggies.

Cheese doesn't count as part of your dairy.

Protein shakes are very good, I make mine with low fat yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, and some skim milk....sometimes I add peanut butter... and psyllium which is fiber to help me stay full longer.... Yogurt is also good by itself...add some divinci syrup or splenda...

I second the leftovers suggestion, I do like eggs - but can get tired of them as well.

Sometimes I do turkey bacon BLTs minus the bread. I wrap turkey bacon and tomato in lettuce wraps.

I also like to just roll up low salt ham and low fat swiss with a hint of mustard as a quick, easy breakfast. Or low-fat turkey rolled up with some salsa.

Don't get stuck thinking you have to eat something you don't like to be successful on SB, there are so many options.

Good luck!!

We do the roll up thing and put them in a container the night before and grab them on the way out the door in the morning. Yummy.
