South Beach carb and fat grams
Hi, new to SB here, and have new book, I dont see anything in it in regards to "keep carbs below X in phase 1" or "fat grams or % should not exceed X"
I am eating foods off the acceptable foods lists BUT, being a former atkineer, feel nervy when I see Fitday has me at 77 carbs and/or 60% fat. I am worried that now I am increasing carbs, etc. Any words of wisdom? TIA |

![]() FYI- we do not count carbs or fat on this plan. I put the meal plan charts into my journal so please go there and print them up as they will help you learn to eat this way. Coming from Atkins, I know that it can be unnerving to see yourself eat higher levels of carbs, but trust me, it works this way too. Are you following phase I? |

lil miss - I was really nervous about the carbs/fats when I started SB, but at long as I eat from the list, have my snacks, I do great. Not hungry etc.
Good Luck! |
