Thanks for starting us up Rose!

Weight is up almost 5 lbs. from siggie. I am 161.6. I'm still sore from my callanetics DVD workout yesterday. I think the added exercise may also be why I am up again this morning.

I hope to lose at least 6 pounds over the next two weeks. What are your goals everyone?

We can do this everyone! Have a great Phase 1 day...I'll BBL

WHAT IS SIGGIE?

My weight is now up 5 pounds from LAST WEEK!! Ahhhhh....

I need to curb my cravings in the next two weeks and I want to lose at least what I gained, if not more. I have a total of 18.6 pounds that I want to lose to get back to my goal weight that I reached last March. Ugh...so frustrating!! In reality I would love to lose an additional 10 pounds off of that, but we will see. One goal at a time, huh?! 28.6 pounds just seems too far away and too nuts! So I won't go there right now.

FIRST GOAL: to concur 8.6 pounds!!

MENU for today
B: 1 cup hood FF milk with 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder, LS v8
S: 1 ounce roasted almonds
L: 1 meatless, soyless chik'n cutlet w 1 TBS SF bbq sauce, veggies (not sure what type yet)
S: 1 cup NFP yogart, SF syrup, splenda
D: Grilled lean porkchop, steamed broccoli

GYM TODAY and lots of water!!

Maybe we can make suggestions on each others food menus if we see something that can be improved on. I think that would help too.

ALRIGHT LADIES.....LET'S DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!! We have some major butt to kick!

Hi ladies!

Well, my goal is 6-8 lbs within the next two weeks. I had originally thought I'd only do 1 week, but I think I really need to dig my heels in and do 2.

Teresa: Siggy means signature. It's the weight number we type in to our profile, which shows up directly under our pictures.

Dani: I really need you to keep me focused and on phase 1 because I know you are much more disciplined than I am. Please, keep me on track ! LOL.

Rose: Thanks for starting us up and I couldn't help but laugh at the pic you used because it is soooo true.

Rachel: Wow, 1 lb isn't too bad, but now you've made me scared to go weigh in because I'm sure my gain is much more than that!

Ok ladies, I'll BBL with the official number.

I am w/you on that Teresa, 36.5 pounds sounds far too daunting a task, but getting 10 pounds off sounds much more reasonable. Also, I think it is a great idea to make suggestions/improvements on our menus. I know that I never get enough veggies on Phase 1.

Vero- Don't worry...I'll keep you in line and focused!

Rachel- Glad you are joining us! You'll have that pound off (and then some!) in no time...

I am doing well so far. B= 2 pieces of canadian bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, S= string cheese L= big salad.
Dinner is probably going to be salmon and vegetables.

Everyone have a great ON PLAN afternoon!!

O.M.G. I weighed this morning. I have gained more like 10 lbs than 5. 138

Ok, I know our method of operation on this board is we don't jump on you unless you ask. So, can we make suggestions to each other, nicely of course, without taking offense? I don't want to run anyone off, but it looks like everyone wants to get it done and I agree with Teresa, suggestions would be good. How about if you don't want comments, say so and we won't make any. I'll take all the critiques I can get.

I post food for the day before because I never know what DD is cooking.

Rose, I'm all for critiques...and I would be thrilled to be your weight!

Rachel, nice to see you in your avatar.

Did good at dinner, but got hungry later and made a 1 min flax muffin. I'm not sure if is Phase 1 friendly, but it was a better choice than the granola bar DH was having.

The ingredients were:
1/4 cup ground flax
1 egg
1 t. melted margarine
1 t. baking cocoa
1 splenda packet
1/2 t. baking powder

Your thoughts? Is it okay on Phase 1?

Hi ladies!

I don't mind critiques, but as most of you know, my menus are whacky and never really fit the SB guidelines, but hey, if you wanna comment, go ahead, LOL.

Today was a cr@ppy eating day because I've been slammed with work and didn't have time to cook dinner. I'm up to my ears in lesson plans, PowerPoints, and group projects, and I'm STILL not finished....arrrrghhh!

Rose: Ok, your current weight is less than my goal weight , LOL. I second Dani in saying that I would love to be your weight.

I didn't go to the gym today, so I didn't weigh in with shoes&clothes, which is what I usually do. I weighed in nekked on my little scale here at home and it still shows me at 174. I found that very strange since my eating lately has been filled with grains, so I put one of my workout weights on there, but it read it accurately, so I guess it's right. I'm definitely not gonna argue it!

Today's exercise: none

Today's menu:
B:none (what a surprise)
L: shredded chicken breast w/ tomato sauce, jalapenos, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers; ff refried beans w/ part-skim mozzarella
S: handful of peanuts
D: chicken nuggets w/ a cup of chili w/ onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, lf cheddar

Ok, I'm ducking now b/c I know my menu was not good . Goodnight to everyone!

Yeah, but I'm short. Like REALLY short.

These are fine; just count it as nuts. It probably is more than one serving of nuts, but still.....

You know, I like refried beans too but when i'm in a hurry I buy the ff refried beans that come in a can, and they can be kinda YUCKY!!! Nothing ever beats the real thing I guess. Tomorrow's menu will be much better because I'm at school all day. I've already planned to have a big salad for lunch and probably another for dinner. Hopefully that will make up for my horrible menu

I'm the oft-mentioned DD cook. We use the FF canned refried beans as well, and I've found that it really helps the taste to thin them out with some water (probably 1/4 cup or so - I don't measure!) and put in a bit of olive oil, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne.

Thanks! Rose Jr.? I never thought of doing that and I eat them all of the time because they're so quick to heat up.

Ladies!

It supposed to be a nice, semi-warm day today and I'm taking advantage, wearing my new capris from Express, size 12, whoooppeee!! I'm getting everything ready for school because today is my long day. I'll try to check back in tonight.

Have a great day on the Beach!

Here I am with yesterday's food.

Cottage cheese, V-8

Celery, laughing cow

Chef salad

Veggie patty, slaw

I really didn't eat enough yesterday, didn't get to eat "lunch" until nearly 5:00 and dinner until nearly 10:00, but everything was on plan at least. Had almost enough water and too much coffee.
