Did you get headaches during Phase I?

I have been getting headaches since I started Phase I. Is this from the detox factor?

I didn't, but I've never been prone to them. Do you drink enough water?

hey Katie, I got headaches when I first started doing low carb. I did Atkins for a while... I think its just your body cleaning out all the "crap" and going through caffeine/sugar withdrawls. It only lasts a couple of days though at MOST.

I know what you mean about not having time to do anything - I have 1 year old triplets adn some days I forget to eat, never mind going out to the library or anything else.

Good luck!

It's pretty common for people to have what we call the "SB flu" sometime during the first week of Phase 1.

For me, I had headaches and was really tired during Days 2 and 3... After that I felt progressively better every day until the end of first week. By the end of the second week, I felt better than I had for a very long time.

Make sure to drink enough water, eat all your veggies, have your dairy and consume your beans every day... those things do help you feel a bit better.

I do think it's your body detoxing... Hang in there, it is totally worth it.
