sorry for the new thread but
Sorry about the new thread but I got lost in the daily one. Ok, have been doing sb for a while, then went on mini vacation. Well I am finally down to 143. 4 which is .2 oz lower than my siggy weight. Question is tho, I am doing phase 1 again, but find it so close to atkins? I really dont want to start all over again because then when I reintroduce grains back into my woe, i am so stalled out for two more weeks before I lose again. Can I just go back into phase 2 with weight loss? Anyone?? TIA.

As long as you aren't having any cravings, I think you're fine to just go into Phase 2... The real benefits of Phase 1 are to detox and get rid of any cravings.
Congratulations It sounds like you're doing great. ![]() |

Sheila,
I think I may be the Queen of Phase 1 since I've done it soooo many time. I personally don't have any problems with Phase 1 and have no idea how it relates to Atkins. One thing I know for certain is that I have a problem with wheat. It stalls me, too.Dr. A didn't say that you HAVE to do grains. You could always do a starchy veggie like peas or a sweet potato. Start slowly and only add in 1 a week. That way you can find out exactly what is giving you problems. You're changing you eating habits for life. Relax and enjoy the challenges. Hope this helps.
