Hi all! I just started SB today. I have PCOS & my ob recommended I do this diet due to insulin resistance. I'm sure I'll have tons of questions!

Michelle,I also have PCOS... I've been on the beach for about 4 months now and feel better than I have in a very long time. The first week was pretty tough, make sure to eat all your veggies, beans and dairy. It will help you with the blah feeling you're sure to experience the first few days. After the first week you'll feel much better. By the end of the first month, you probably won't be able to imagine eating any other way. Do join us on the daily support thread... we've got a great group over there. ![]() |

I have PCOS, too. SB seems to just help my body work the way it's supposed to. My energy levels go up, I get sick less, and I sleep better.
Day three is the hardest for me and once I get past that, everything is actually pretty easy. I think you'll like what you're doing. Good luck! |
