Just 2 Questions.....

Hello Everyone....2 questions:

1. So on the SBD you lose weight slower (than on Atkins) even in Phase1?

2. Does this site have pictures (Before and After) of people on SBD? I get encouraged by Before/After Pictures..

Hi,
I have done both Atkins and SB now. I think in phase 1 I seemed to lose about the same amt of weight, the difference is when I did atkins I stayed with like the 20 or below carbs like the whole time, which you arent supposed to do, but I wanted to lose very quickly. This time since doing SB, I extended my phase 1 a little, but phase 2 I kinda bouce back and forth between phase 1 and phase 2, I am a person who cannot eat grains everyday or else I dont lose, you kinda learn those things along the way. I would say on Phase 2, I have lost slower, but I am ok with it. Hope that helps.

Ditto from above. Doing good, at two pounds a week on phase 2, and I have increased my grains to two a day. ,( or starchy veggie of half a sweet potato or half cup of limas or something like that.)Or if I eat bread, it will be one slice of whole grain, or 5 whole wheat saltine crackers, they are so good, or srv of popcorn. I alternate and do not eat all this in one day, lol. (some days I have only one starch or grain, and sometimes none, depends on what I eat. sometimes I eat yogurt and not whole grains) I do eat fruit. I have apples mostly, but I am still losing. Each person is different and will lose different. Hope this helps. Oh I also do have a cup of v8 every morn.

You might lose slower on this program, but it truly is a program that is livable for LIFE.

There were some of the gals who posted some pics in last week's thread; check those out! GREAT motivation if you need it!

Actually, I lost more in the first two weeks of SB, than I did after a month of Atkins. I lost 11lbs the first two weeks.
