I did SBD back in December, lost a few pounds but i never made it pass phase 1, i started again to day, and i was wondering if im eating to much food...

Breakfast
2 pieces of turkey bacon
2 medium eggs with cheese

Lunch
Tuna Melts on Tomato and Lettuce
Ranch Dressing

Dinner ill have
Broc. and Chicken with a little cheese

Drinking water all day, havent had time to snack, is that ok if im not feeling hungry until meal times?

Hi, there!

Welcome to SBD! I absolutely love this woe and am so happy to have found it. I'm not sure what the quanities are on your lunch and dinner items but I'd keep an eye on the amounts of cheese you are using and make sure that you're eating plenty of green veggies.

Also, did you know that we are encouraged to have 2 cups of low-fat/fat-free milk or non-fat yogurt a day as well as 1/3-1/2 cup serving of beans? These are updates that aren't listed in the book for Phase 1. I love these additions because they give variety to Phase 1 and made it easy for me to do.

Dr. A. says we should eat all of our snacks in Phase 1 but I tend to only eat when I'm actually hungry. Ultimately, we have to make the plan work for us.

Welcome!

Rachel

The "snacks" are important to keep blood sugar levels stable, esp. if you have insulin issues. Think of them as mini meals. I think a lot of us think of a snack as that after school cookies and milk kind of thing. I wish they didn't use that term.

You are certainly not eating too much if your quantities are normal portions.

Thanks for these comments. I can't wait to get started. I will start Monday. I have also changed my exercise routine to see why I am not losing.
