Hey there... Well, I am certainly no expert here and each person is different, so something that works for me...may not work for you etc. BUT I have tried both WOEing Atkins was first and even though I did lose a lot, I really didn't like the fact that I was putting all that high fat in my body. I guess I was thinking clogged arteries blah blah blah...
Besides Heart disease ran on my Mom's side of the family and I don't want to take any chances. So, I found it much easier for me to eat Whole grains after phase 1 on SB, Turkey bacon instead of regular... and chicken, fish, turkey more so than red fatty meats even though I still did that occasionally too, just not as much. PLUS, I can add a glass of Red Wine each night at dinner in at phase 2! Although, I have to say...they both work!! SB is just a better fit for me! You should definately experiment and find out which one is for you! Good luck with whatever you decide! You can do it! Enjoy you're day! Melynda
